    Heroine Regret 153

    Edited by: Tiny Fan Fiction

Who is this guy dating? Is he her boyfriend or girlfriend?

A dolphin performance usually lasts about fifteen minutes.

Once it’s long enough, we’ll move on to the next set of tourists.

The first ten minutes are just the performance.

For the last five minutes, a trainer randomly selects lucky spectators to come up on stage and interact with the dolphins before ending the show.

    Does that sound really appealing?

After watching the adorable, intelligent, and uncommon dolphin performance, there’s still a chance to win free interaction time.

    Maybe…

Once in a lifetime, maybe just this one time.

“Mina-san, let’s raise your hands now so I can see who has the highest!”

The trainer uses a wireless microphone to address all the present spectators.

His words barely fell, and a mischievous dolphin suddenly leaps up, letting out an earsplitting screech.

A stunning flip in mid-air, even the most skilled acrobatic performers would struggle to achieve.

In an instant, it ignites countless spectators’ enthusiasm.

Everyone raises their hands and shouts excitedly to volunteer for the stage.

    “Wow, that’s really lively.”

Kitagami Yoru isn’t against it; he actually wants to go up himself too.

But not in such a crazy way— even a little girl could scream herself hoarse.

The trainer’s gaze slowly scans over all the spectators present.

    “I… I want to go!”

    “Choose me, choose me!”

Miura Yumiko seems very interested in this matter, standing up and waving her hand high.

She shouted loudly, voice trembling as she cried out from the stage.

“You’re shouting so loud that the caretakers probably would choose those half-grown children instead of you,” he said.

Kitagami Yoru quickly covered his ears to remind Miura Yumiko.

“How would we know? What if I get chosen?”

Miura Yumiko coldly shot Kitagami Yoru a glance and let out a light scoff.

    On the stage.

The caretaker’s eyes fell on a boy and girl, about ten years old each.

    They must be dragon siblings.

Just as he was about to decide, he saw Miura Yumiko, topless in her golden hair, stunningly beautiful.

She was talking to her boyfriend while keeping her hand raised.

“Not just children every time, right?”

That thought flashed briefly in the caretaker’s mind before he made his decision.

“So… then we’ll please these two lucky guests to come up and interact with us!”

The caretaker pointed toward Miura Yumiko and Kitagami Yoru, shouting into the infinite microphone.

Just then, a sharp glance came from that side.

Miura Yumiko was taken aback, then looked at the caretaker, pointing in her own direction with an amazed expression.

“No mistake about it—this golden-haired lady right here. Please come up!”

The caretaker nodded firmly in confirmation.

“Great! I’m actually the one who got chosen, you heard that?”

Miura Yumiko, her face alight with surprise, quickly looks toward the group of people sharing her joy.

“Did you really go through with it?”

Kitagami Yoru suddenly lets out a breath, congratulating Miura Yumiko.

    “I’ll be right there.”

Miura Yumiko realizes she’s been exposed in front of so many people, her expression slightly stiff and tense.

She tosses her hair back over her shoulder, adjusts her mood, and weaves through the crowd to approach the stage.

“And this charming gentleman over here!”

The keeper notices Miura Yumiko walking down and points again toward Kitagami Yoru.

Sitting beside her, Kitagami Yoru is on her left, while Yuigahama Yui is on her right.

    “Me?”

Kitagami Yoru jumps up in surprise, looking at the keeper.

Could it be anyone else but him?

    “Yes, that’s correct. It’s you.”

The keeper loudly tells Kitagami Yoru so.

Miura Yumiko turns around upon hearing this, looking at Kitagami Yoru and then back at the keeper.

    “Why not me instead?”

She mutters a complaint, shooting an unsatisfied glance as Kitagami Yoru walks down below her.

“Alright, you two guests, please wait for a moment.”

The keeper waves dismissively, treating Miura Yumiko and Kitagami Yoru as an affectionate couple meant to enjoy their time together.

Her inner thoughts make her say, “Miura Yumiko,” which might just cause her to spit blood in frustration.

Why is Kitagami Yoru her boyfriend? They look so much alike. Are they a good match?

    Lucky day.

Kitagami Yoru came down to stand beside Miura Yumiko, speaking softly.

    “Again you are here?”

Miura Yumiko glanced at him with a raised eyebrow.

    “Why not me instead?”

    Kitagami Yoru smiled in response.

“Alright, are the two guests ready now?”

    The caretaker asked inquireingly.

Upon receiving a response, their interaction with the dolphins began.

“Kitagami-san and Yumiko really have it good. So many people around, yet they got selected… It’s incredible.”

Yuigahama Yui slightly gasped in surprise.

    “What? Yui, are you jealous?”

Ebina Hina approached Yuigahama Yui, laughing and squinting her eyes.

    “You’re talking nonsense, Hina. I’m not jealous; I just don’t like Kitagami-san.”

    “It’s just a little crush!”

Yuigahama Yui pushed aside her friend’s advances.

On stage, the dolphins began their performance.

Meanwhile, the caretakers of Kitagami Yoru and Miura Yumiko were not sparing any efforts in making them perform personal actions.

Soft, delicate hands quickly withdrew. Her past bold personality, which often mocked Kitagami Yoru as a “gold-haired king” of boys, reemerged as she feigned shyness with a lifted head.

“What are you looking at? You’re just a waste of space talking nonsense about boys.”

Miura Yumiko flushed, sharply rebuking Kitagami Yoru not to keep staring.

    “Your legs are quite long.”

    Kitagami Yoru grumbled his critique.

    “Be careful; I’ll tell Hina!”

Miura Yumiko threatened to say one thing, then remembered Hayama Hayato and quickly turned her head toward the audience.

Afraid of liking someone, she saw a misunderstanding arise from seeing him and Kitagami Yoru being intimate.

“Alright, this will be the last interaction.”

“Would you mind holding each other?”

The caretaker cheerfully addressed Kitagami Yoru.

After saying that, he turned to look at Miura Yumiko.

    “Holding each other?”

    Miura Yumiko was stunned.

If it wasn’t happening together and she knew Kitagami Yoru, she might suspect the caretaker had taken bribes from him.

Specifically to have her and Kitagami Yoru engage in close contact.

“Uncle, my sister and I aren’t comfortable with this; forget it.”

Kitagami Yoru noticed Miura Yumiko’s hesitation, but he didn’t want to be targeted by this stubborn little troublemaker.

    It was unavoidable.

    “Oh, oh, oh! No problem.”

“I thought you two were a couple; turns out you’re siblings.”

The caretaker was very cooperative and quickly came up with a new interaction plan.

Only later did Miura Yumiko realize it, looking at Kitagami Yoru as he pressed his lips together, saying nothing.

Just feels a bit annoyed in her heart.

“What are you doing, who is this pervert? Is he your boyfriend or something?”

    Two minutes.

The performance ended, and the audience began to disperse one by one.

Kitagami Yoru and Miura Yumiko left the stage and went outside.

“Hey, Kitagami Yoru, come here; I have something I want to talk about.”

Miura Yumiko quickly approaches from behind and says to Kitagami Yoru.

    “You can say it here.”

Kitagami Yoru points to the ground, curious about what Miura Yumiko wants to say.

“Is it about Ebina Hina or something else?”

“How can you talk like that?”

As she says this, Miura Yumiko is about to grab the hem of Kitagami Yoru’s clothes.

    “Do you wear boxers?”

Kitagami Yoru remains silent and sidesteps, asking a question in return.

    “B…b…ottoms…”

The nightmare of the incident where she tripped and walked out because of Kitagami Yoru’s reminder resurfaces in Miura Yumiko’s mind once again.

“You? Kitagami Yoru, you must be doing this on purpose, right?”

“H…. What are you implying? Are you saying I’m not sincere?”

Miura Yumiko’s face turns red, her chest rising and falling. She is still quite attractive.

“No, that’s not it. Yuigahama-san and the others will be out soon; are you sure about this?”

Kitagami Yoru doesn’t seem to care about Miura Yumiko’s threatening tone.

    “Hmph….”

Miura Yumiko takes a deep breath, shaking her head in frustration as she mutters that it’s impossible with Kitagami Yoru:

    “Fine, I’ll do it.”

“You’re asking about my relationship with Ebina Hina?”

Kitagami Yoru suddenly smiles at Miura Yumiko.

    “Yes.”

Miura Yumiko looks at Kitagami Yoru’s face, trying to calm her excited emotions.

This guy is such a pain!

“In my restaurant, I always tell it like it is. You don’t believe me?”

Kitagami Yoru finishes her thought and turns casually, scanning the room but finding no trace of Yuigahama Yui.

“You’re just spouting nonsense. Do you really think I’d believe that?”

“Tell me, are you two seeing each other? The way it looks… it’s not like a normal relationship.”

Miura Yumiko waves her hand dismissively and flips a dramatic eye at Kitagami Yoru.

“I never expected…. You’re actually quite concerned about Ebina, aren’t you?”

Kitagami Yoru doesn’t respond but looks surprised.

“Hey, I’m the type of person who only thinks about themselves. Do you really think I’d consider friends?”

Miura Yumiko clearly disapproves of Kitagami Yoru’s perspective and shouts out her opinion.

    “It kind of does.”

    Kitagami Yoru nods seriously.

“Kitagami Yoru, I really want to punch you right now. Do you believe me?”

“Do you think it’s better to say or not?”

Miura Yumiko barely managed to suppress her anger.

“You can be sure, Ebina Hina is much smarter than you. I guess she’d fall for my tricks.”

“Ask Ebina Hina yourself if she’s willing to tell you. Don’t ask me—I promised not to reveal anything.”

Kitagami Yoru couldn’t answer Miura Yumiko’s questions.

It was a backhanded admission of sorts, suggesting something wasn’t quite right between him and Ebina Hina.

    “Confidential?”

Miura Yumiko muttered doubtfully, sizing up Kitagami Yoru.

    “Confidential.”

Kitagami Yoru shook his head, showing no interest in continuing the conversation.

    “Yumiko…”

Before Miura Yumiko could say anything, Yuigahama Yui’s voice came from behind her.

She gave up, turning around to look at Yuigahama Yui before shifting her gaze to Ebina Hina.

“Hina and Kitagami Yoru have some secret they’re hiding. Can’t you tell me anything, Hina?”

Miura Yumiko sneered quietly, tossing her golden hair over her shoulder.

    “Kitagami-san, let’s go shopping.”

Ebina Hina made a direct invitation to Kitagami Yoru.

“Going? It’s almost time now, isn’t it?”

Kitagami Yoru checked the time on his phone and didn’t refuse.

    Between lines of dialogue.

A sharp, threatening glare lingered for an instant before shooting over, dead set on staring at Kitagami Yoru.

Seeing his favorite girl, Tobe Kakeru actively invites another guy to go on a date right in front of him, and he’s seething with frustration, nearly wanting to spit blood.

“Are we supposed to stay here or leave?”

Ebina Hina turns around and asks the group for their opinions.

“Well, maybe we should leave. The most popular projects are already done.”

“And after that, there’s not much left to see. What do you think?”

Tobe Kakeru looks at Hayama Hayato and the other few guys and says.

“I don’t care. Let Yumiko decide.”

Yuigahama Yui is indifferent about it, staring dazedly at Kitagami Yoru and Ebina Hina.

“So, what’s the deal with Kitagami-san and Hina?”

While saying she doesn’t mind getting jealous, Yuigahama Yui is definitely uncomfortable inside.

“Hina, if you really want to stay, go shopping with Kitagami Yoru. I’ll wait for you.”

Miura Yumiko hesitates and says to Ebina Hina.

She actually doesn’t have much dislike for Kitagami Yoru.

It’s mainly because he’s too good-looking, too handsome.

What if she dumps Ebina Hina one day?

That’s what she’s worried about. She won’t interfere with her best friend.

    “Let’s go. There’s no rush.”

Ebina Hina playfully tiptoes and taps Kitagami Yoru on the shoulder.

Deliberately, she reveals in front of everyone that she likes Kitagami Yoru and is interested in him.

“I actually wanted to leave too; it’s cold.”

Kitagami Yoru pinched his nose and laughed.

After deciding to leave, Tobe Kakeru’s anxious heart settled slightly when Matsushita arrived.

    The same kind of suffering.

    Tonight, it’s impossible to sleep.

“Ebina… does she really like Kitagami Yoru that much?”

    “Isn’t she… isn’t she a lolicon?”

Ebina Hina’s sudden change in personality made Tobe Kakeru even more anxious.

Leaving Duck River City and taking the bus to Rich Town.

Rich Town, where Ebina’s mother lives, is actually closer to Tokyo, with even a special rapid train line.

As for why they chose Duck River City over Rich Town, it’s because the pasture in the afternoon and early evening is more enjoyable.

Who would go to the pasture so early?

    Squeezing milk, perhaps.

Around 4:30 PM, a group of people switch to a public bus and arrive at Ebina’s mother’s pasture.

The pasture is much smaller than one might expect.

“Hayato, Hayato, can you take a picture for me?”

After buying tickets, they enter and see a peculiar mirror at the entrance. Miura Yumiko immediately hands her phone to Hayama Hayato.

“I want to take one too, Yumiko, Hina, we’ll do it together later?”

Yuigahama Yui waits for Hayama Hayato’s photograph and speaks up.

    “Kitagami-san?”

Ebina Hina deliberately looks at Kitagami Yoru while Tobe Kakeru is nearby, all in front of him.

Where meaning lies, spoken or unspoken.

    “OK.”

    Kitagami Yoru laughed joyfully.

Hayama Hayato took a few shots before Yuigahama Yui and Ebina Hina quickly joined him, standing alongside Miura Yumiko.

“Wow, you’re such great sisters. Do everything together?”

Looking at the three vibrant young girls, each with their own unique style, posing for photos.

Kitagami Yoru let out a sigh, unable to resist pulling out his phone and locking in a memory.

He himself didn’t feel much desire to take many photos.

It’s almost like it would be similar to taking pictures of Eriri.

There were also some tourists nearby, mostly residents from Chiba Prefecture.

“I wonder what big secrets are out there. Could it be that Ebina Hina is hiding something?”

Looking at the photos on his phone, three beautiful legs with snow-white skin, Kitagami Yoru felt his thoughts wander.
