Graffiti and Bullying
The first day of school officially begins.
In the shower room, Kitakami Yoru finishes exercising and wipes off the water droplets from his body in front of the mirror.
Gazing at the chubby reflection in the mirror, he thinks about Shinomiya Kaguya’s request to be among the top thirty students this year and feels resentful.
The so-called Student Council, which has the authority to manage all affairs in the academy, is just like this with Vice President Shinomiya Kaguya.
Just helping Kasumigaoka Utaha help her bully others.
Kitakami Yoru thinks, not knowing that Shinomiya Kaguya’s help to Kasumigaoka Utaha is half due to her Student Council duties and half out of concern as the young lady of the Shinomiya family.
But, it’s all equally detestable!
Dressed and ready, Kitakami Yoru packs his homemade lunch.
300 grams of rice, plenty of vegetables, and clean meat, all packed in a lunchbox and put into his school bag.
Patting the sleepy San-san from earlier, he steps out of the room.
“Good morning, Gabriel.”
Kitakami Yoru greets Gabriel who is blowing wind in the hallway.
“Good morning, I couldn’t sleep well last night due to some excitement.”
Carrying his school bag, Kitakami Yoru and Gabriel walk down the apartment building together towards the station.
“It’s obvious you didn’t sleep well.” Kitakami Yoru examined Gabriel’s face, then glanced at the weather.
It’s a bit gloomy; that’s just how it is during the rainy season.
Looks like I’ll need to carry an umbrella around more often.
Walked a few minutes to the station, took a bus, and walked to school.
At the school entrance, the two parted ways.
It was almost time for morning reading; Kitakami Yoru and Gabriel lived relatively close, so they arrived a bit late.
Shuuchiin Academy was already large and luxurious; there were no people outside at this time.
Kitakami Yoru changed into indoor shoes on the first floor and headed to the classroom.
There were about ten minutes left until morning reading.
Every classroom was lively; everyone chatted in pairs, gathering with those they knew.
As Kitakami Yoru passed by class 2-B, Eriri was sitting by the window, dragging her fair cheek with one hand and staring out.
Her gaze was suddenly caught by Kitakami Yoru, who was walking quickly and lowering his head.
Until Kitakami Yoru’s stout figure left Eriri’s line of sight.
Unfortunately, when Kitakami Yoru reached the back door of the classroom, he hadn’t looked up yet.
Otherwise, you’ll definitely be stopped in your tracks by the surprise of Eriri’s golden treasure chest on her head.
Kasumigaoka Utaha and Shinomiya Kaguya both have a golden treasure chest on their heads, just like Eriri!
The classroom is no different from others, it’s just a bit louder.
Kitakami Yoru heard someone talking about him, whether male or female, they were saying some bad things.
Kitakami Yoru, who was used to it since he was little, didn’t react much and went straight to his seat.
“…Damn…Bastard…
Standing in front of his seat, Kitakami Yoru saw that the once clean desk was messed up with black ink, scribbled and drawn on.
Some insulting animals were drawn, turtles, pig heads, and words cursing him.
The whole desk was vandalized!
His anger boiled up instantly.
Kitakami Yoru clenched his fists and quickly glanced into the classroom.
Suddenly, it became quiet in the classroom.
These so-called classmates were silently mocking Kitakami Yoru, their eyes were no different from looking at animals in a zoo.
This is bullying!
Until Kitakami Yoru said nothing, he calmly put his backpack away and sat down.
These people are noisy again.
Kitakami Yoru moved his chair, leaning towards the window, clenching his fists tightly, making them turn white.
But he was helpless.
He didn’t know who the culprit was, whether it was a man or a woman, from his class or another one, just like he didn’t know who stole Kasumigaoka Utaha’s petticoat and stockings.
Knowing this, Kitakami Yoru hesitated whether to seek revenge, in case the culprit’s family was a big capitalist or bureaucrat.
In Japan, these people would collude with each other and protect one another.
Maybe, just by hooking a finger, he could cause his father to lose his job.
Finance is a circle; once you’re ostracized by the circle, your father would never be able to work in finance again.
A strong sense of powerlessness spread within Kitakami Yoru’s heart.
Damn it!
Shinomiya Kaguya harbored even more hatred for Kasumigaoka Utaha in her heart.
If there was a chance, she wished to turn them all into pigs who only knew how to be cheap and lustful. Kitakami Yoru didn’t want that at all!!!
After a while.
What’s the point of waking up early?
After morning classes, it’s time for a lunch break that lasts an hour and a half.
Shu-chii Academy has a special student cafeteria, and there are also vending machines with bread and quick meals.
As soon as lunch time comes, the classroom is almost empty.
Kitakami Yoru quietly takes out a low-fat meal from his bag and starts eating it right away.
After finishing the meal, he packs up the lunchbox, leaves through the back door, and goes to a familiar vending machine to buy a can of black coffee.
It’s still as bitter as ever. After taking a sip, Kitakami Yoru walks back to the Teaching Building.
He originally wanted to go to the front desk and just stay there, blowing off some steam.
But because the weather is gloomy, he goes back to the classroom and flips through the notes he took during morning classes, casually reviewing them.
Kitakami Yoru’s high school grades are not very good.
He needs to start from scratch, slowly making up for it, laying a solid foundation before building further.
This time, no matter what, he will grit his teeth and persevere.
About half an hour later, Kitakami Yoru finishes the last drop of black coffee, closes the notebook, and takes out his phone to kill time.
“Shocking! Daikyo Yoku’s prophecy: Axis Powers, Japan 2:1 victory over Hans.”
“The authoritative vegetable company declares that the World Cup champion will be chosen among the Samba Army, the Three Lions, and the Bulls.”
“It’s soccer.”
Kitakami Yoru really likes soccer; he became interested as soon as he saw it.
Just about to watch it properly.
Behind the classroom door, his classmate Miura Yumiko walked in with several other students from their class.
They all gathered around Miura Yumiko, chatting.
A boy with a yellow-haired ponytail, wearing a headband, looking very much like a delinquent, suddenly leaned over Kitakami Yoru’s face.
It startled him.
“Hello….you….you must be that person, Kitakami-kun, right?”
“Haha, you’re quite famous,” Tobe Kakeru said with an exaggerated expression and gesturing towards Kitakami Yoru.
Kitakami Yoru looked up, glanced at the other person, and turned his head away.
People like this don’t need to be acknowledged; just ignore them.
“Hey, Kitakami-kun, don’t be like that?”
“You’re quite famous; I want to take a picture with you.”
Tobe Kakeru smiled, not caring about Kitakami Yoru’s appearance, took out his phone, held Kitakami Yoru’s shoulders, as if he was going to take a photo together.
“I don’t want to take a picture.”
Kitakami Yoru grabbed his wrist with his own chubby hands, not even looking, and lightly moved it away.
The terrifying power made Tobe Kakeru’s forced smile on his face freeze up.
Tobe Kakeru: a student in class 2-F at Sobu High School and a member of the soccer club. Tobe is characterized by his dyed-brown hair, gray eyes, and cheerful personality. He is part of Hayato Hayama’s clique and harbors feelings for Hina Ebina.
