    Heroine Regret 59

    Edited by: Tiny Fan Fiction

    We are friends

    Aoyama Nanami house.

“Thanks, Kitagami-san, I’ll pay for the fare.”

Aoyama Nanami and Kitagami Yoru walked out of an old apartment with a huge box in their hands.

It was all packed by Aoyama Nanami beforehand.

    “Don’t you find it heavy?”

Kitagami Yoru asked from behind as he walked.

“Actually, I’m okay. Maybe it’s because I’ve been training.”

    Aoyama Nanami smiled.

Kitagami Yoru found a topic to talk about to avoid boredom.

“This is my practice device for voice acting. It helps me correct my tone.”

    Kitagami Yoru felt curious.

“I’m trying to qualify as a voice actor and currently attending a voice acting school.”

Kitagami Yoru casually responded, “That’s tough, coming from Kansai.”

    What?

Aoyama Nanami stopped in her tracks and turned back with a shy, strange expression.

“You know, my accent is quite heavy, right?” Aoyama Nanami seemed concerned about this point.

Kitagami Yoru made a gesture that would offend a man from the cold country and said, “That’s alright, just a little.”

    “Sigh~”

The girl breathed a sigh of relief.

Carrying two big boxes, they returned to the apartment.

On the fourth floor, Gabriel was helping Aoyama Nanami sort things from the boxes.

After quickly finishing, he picked up a laptop and started playing games.

Aoyama Nanami and Kitagami Yoru left again, moving twice more.

The sky was dark; they finally finished.

    “Thank you, Kitagami-san.”

Aoyama Nanami sincerely thanked her for all the help she had received.

She had even doubted Kitagami Yoru; it was unfair. She felt very guilty and wanted to do something to make up for it.

But, Kitagami Yoru didn’t need her help.

    “I’m leaving.”

Kitagami Yoru waved his hand and left the fourth floor.

Aoyama Nanami didn’t understand before, but now she knows why she chose the quiet fourth floor. She’s worried about disturbing the neighbors when practicing her voiceovers at night.

Now that he knows, it’s because he needs to practice his dubbing in the evening and doesn’t want to bother the neighbors, so he chose the secluded fourth floor.

    He returned home.

    Kitagami Yoru prepared dinner first.

Then, holding San-san, they went to the bathroom together for a bath.

After eating, he rested for a while and started doing homework and reviewing his lessons.

“Yukinoshita asked me to borrow a book…”

He turned on the desk lamp and Kitagami Yoru began reading by lamplight.

    A half-hour later.

Just stretching lazily, he came to the living room and continued his aerobic exercise.

After exercising, completely exhausted, he took a shower and fell asleep comfortably in bed.

    ……

The sun was hiding behind the clouds.

    Tokyo’s weather is unpredictable.

    Early morning.

Kitagami Yoru brushed his teeth as the weather forecast reported that there might be heavy rain in the area for the past week.

He put an umbrella back into his backpack and went to school with Gabriel.

Passing by Aoyama Nanami’s bookstore where he also greeted her.

    ……

At this time, inside Shuchiin Academy.

The present group led by Miura Yumiko still maintained their usual habits.

Before class, they gathered around Miura Yumiko’s seat chatting.

Only today, Yuigahama Yui noticed that Miura Yumiko seemed a bit absent-minded.

Last night, Miura Yumiko wondered about the club she was in and mentioned Kitagami Yoru-san.

As an important part of maintaining the present group, Miura Yumiko hardly spoke. Before the bell for early reading class rang, they all returned to their seats.

“Yumiko, why are you so strange today?” Yuigahama Yui asked before leaving.

“Ah? What do you mean? Maybe it’s because I didn’t rest well last night.”

Miura Yumiko was startled and clearly went blank.

“Is that so?” Yuigahama Yui had some doubts, but she didn’t continue questioning and sat back in her seat.

    “Really……”

Miura Yumiko yawned, her gaze fixed on Kitagami Yoru’s desk the whole time.

Because of a conflict that happened in a small alley yesterday, Miura Yumiko didn’t sleep well.

Who would have thought that this disgusting fatso, Kitagami Yoru, would ask Yukinoshita Yukino for help to catch up on lessons?

After clearing up the misunderstanding, Miura Yumiko didn’t want to bother Kitagami Yoru anymore. It’s not that she lacked the ability; she was just afraid of what a crazy act he might do.

    Yesterday really scared her.

Thinking about it now, there’s still regret and fear, mixed with a hint of embarrassment.

Miura Yumiko just couldn’t accept being forced to apologize by the fatso.

She thought like this when she liked how Kitagami Yoru came to class through the back door.

    “Miura Yumiko……”

The first thing that caught her eye was definitely staring at her desk mate.

She sat back down in her seat, a bit nervous.

    Nothing seemed to have happened.

The two of them were as if nothing had happened the day before.

Miura Yumiko put her backpack away and took out her phone. Kitagami Yoru was scrolling through the news.

    At the same time.

Aoyama Nanami finished work at the bookstore and rushed to school, ready for reading class.

Kanda Sorata couldn’t resist and immediately left his seat to come running over.

“Aoyama-san, could you hold up for a moment?” Kanda Sorata said nervously.

“Kanda-san, is it because of the manga?” Aoyama Nanami held her own breakfast bento from last night in her hand and looked up with curiosity.

“No, it’s because I saw you and Kitagami Yoru walking together when I left the bookstore yesterday.” Kanda Sorata clutched his hands tightly together.

“That’s right, Kanda-san. You misunderstood Kitagami-san. He is now my friend.” Aoyama Nanami first looked enlightened and then chuckled with a hint of embarrassment.

“F… Friend?” Kanda Sorata almost couldn’t believe what he heard.

“Aoyama-san, have you forgotten what I said before?”

“He’s getting close to you; he must be plotting something.”

Kanda and Sorata spoke in a slightly trembling tone.

It’s fine that he doesn’t say these things.

Aoyama Nanami remembered how she had carelessly suspected Kitagami Yoru of these words and felt guilty.

“Kanda-san, it’s better not to maliciously suspect others like this,” Aoyama Nanami said, trying to ease her guilt.

Aoyama Nanami felt guilty but also spoke up for Kitagami Yoru to alleviate her feelings of guilt and remorse.

After all, one is a friend, and the other is just a classmate.

It’s clear that the classmate is on the wrong side; it’s obvious who we should speak for.

Gabriel is cuter than herself, she’s a foreign girl with golden hair, and has such a good relationship with Kitagami Yoru. If Kitagami Yoru really had bad intentions, the cute Gabriel would have been harmed first, right?
