Chapter 27 You stand there, do not move, I will…
“Uh!”
Goibniu originally wanted to raise his hand, but as soon as the sword entered his grasp, he involuntarily tightened the creases on his face.
Having been sealed with divine power, Goibniu’s forging skills were still in the “Divine Realm,” but his strength was within the range of an ordinary person.
“…It’s unexpected, and it’s even heavier than copper. No, compared to other metals I’ve seen, it should be much heavier under the same volume.”
Noah had no choice but to place it on a nearby workbench.
Goibniu came to the workbench and opened a multi-faced mirror that focused and lit up the Magic Stone lamp brightly.
Under its light, Riveria also got a clear view of this sword’s appearance……
The hilt was wrapped in ordinary hemp rope, while the blade itself was entirely silver-white. Under the light, it even had a crystal-like transparency, making it look like a finely crafted artifact.
The blade was engraved with patterns similar to Raiden and Flame intertwined on both sides. Upon closer inspection, these patterns were made up of tiny symbols.
No matter who you are, the first time you see this sword, you’ll likely be struck by its beautiful quality and assume it’s just a decorative single-handed sword.
However, the blade alone is at least 80 centimeters long, and adding the hilt would make it around 110 centimeters. It’s definitely a greatsword, especially considering Goibniu mentioned its density was even greater than copper…
Riveria guessed that this sword’s weight wouldn’t be lower than something like a giant axe or similar first-tier weapons.
The conflict between the sword’s elegant appearance and brutal inner core gave Riveria an ominous feeling……
“Truly, it is ungodly……”
Goibniu exhaled a sound that was both contemplative and startled, finally shifting his gaze from the sword to Noah.
“Kid, if I ask you, wouldn’t you say where this sword came from?”
Noticing Riveria’s curious gaze, Noah thought for a moment before shaking his head.
“I’m not entirely sure, but I heard that the material of this sword is a piece of meteorite from outer space. It was melted down using the earth’s core flames and cast into its current form, but it quickly disappeared. I found it on a mountain peak that has been shrouded in lightning for centuries.”
Noah wasn’t lying, but he only told half of what he knew.
This sword’s material not only includes meteorite from outer space but also the extinction of a species and an empire……
Thousands of years ago, an empire that had conquered most of the continent sought out meteorite in foreign lands as part of a promise to the dwarves for their help. The emperor, driven by greed, sent his armies to kill the entire dwarf race.
The meteorite was melted down over several months but couldn’t be shaped into anything useful.
Blood from the extinction of the dwarves helped shape the sword into its current form.
But the emperor who obtained the divine sword died in a foreign tribe attack on his way back. The army collapsed, and the empire fell apart.
The sword disappeared into the chaos until Noah discovered it again.
In Noah’s original world, this history was named “Rebellion Sword Forging.”
“What is its name?”
“Some call it ‘Silent Sorrow,’ but I prefer to call it ‘Raimei.'”
Deep eyes gazing at Noah, Goibniu nodded.
“This sword indeed hosts a very terrifying strength. I don’t know if it should be called a holy sword or a magic sword.”
At Goibniu’s wave, Noah approached to put Raimei back in its scabbard.
“Kid, the weapon’s power is too strong. It will hinder growth and even harm those who wield it. You should have felt this yourself when you started using it a long time ago…”
Thinking of something, Noah’s expression wandered.
Riveria noticed his expression and slightly frowned.
Goibniu closed his eyes and pinched his brow. “The budget is still 4 million Valis. I’ll try to craft armor comparable to this sword, but only as much as possible…”
Then he shouted to the adjacent room, “Olivas! Measure its size for him using your best craftsmanship!”
After Noah was taken into the adjacent room, Riveria approached him quietly after Goibniu left.
“Goibniu Chief God, is that weapon yours?”
With a wave of his hand, Goibniu interrupted Riveria, signaling he knew what she was thinking.
“The sword is just a minor issue. He’s already mastering that weapon. I think if your little brat hadn’t met you or died in the Dungeon, he would have grown up to be like him—completely using himself as a sword…”
In an instant, Riveria’s mind flashed back to Ais’ first encounter with the Dungeon.
That time, she fought through everything and monsters without caring about her own injuries or body’s collapse.
But this time, the golden-haired girl had turned into a silver-haired boy…
Noah, too, was once like Ais?
No, he’s completely self-made…
Gripping the hilt of the staff with force, the fair hand shows veins beneath.
“Take him to the hospital for treatment. Without Falna, forcing his limits would leave many injuries… I can feel it, his body feels unstable, and I’m not sure if it’s because of this…”
Noah felt uneasy walking out of the room with a strange sensation crawling all over his body.
However, when he saw Riveria looking at him… like she was staring at a stray dog that hadn’t eaten in a few days… Noah’s body suddenly felt Something is wrong.
“Miss?”
After looking at Noah for three seconds, Riveria took a deep breath and calmed herself before shifting her gaze away.
“Just call me Riveria.”
Noah didn’t know what was going on, but seeing that Riveria seemed reluctant to say anything, he simply nodded as if nothing had happened.
After thanking GoibniuChief God, the two left the three hammer forge.
Next, Noah followed Riveria to greet many Familia members.
Until noon, they finally reached their last destination… the Dia White Hospital across from the Adventurers Guild on the morning street.
A large building with a wide footprint, entirely white in color, is known as Dia White Hospital. The sign above the gate features another light ball and herb emblem.
It seems the Dia White Hospital’s front desk was empty because they had accepted a patient from yesterday’s charity feast in North Street.
“You should stay here for now, don’t touch anything. I’ll go find Dian CechtChief God and come back soon.”
Noah watched Riveria leave and looked at the series of herbs and potions on the counter as he walked away, lost in thought.
He felt like Riveria’s attitude toward him had changed slightly since they left GoibniuChief God.
For example, Noah could swear he heard her say, “Stay there and don’t move. I’ll go buy two…”
“Hey!”
When Noah’s Body collided with a small, soft object, the sound of her voice pulled him out of his thoughts.
However, besides a few scattered boxes, there was no sign of anyone else.
“What? What do you mean?”
I saw a ghost?
