Chapter 32 Riveria curled up her toes

Noah wanted to put his newly learned magic to the test!

    Noah yearned for adventure!

    Noah craved battle!

The young man close by, conveyed his determination through the warmth of his palm and the sparkle in his eyes, leaving Riveria somewhat flustered.

For a moment, she spaced out, and her gaze fell upon Noah’s face.

She scrutinized him as if it were their first meeting.

Noah’s silver hair wasn’t just a ordinary white or gray, but a vibrant, molten silver that shone with a life of its own, thick and luscious.

Even in the dimly lit environment, it still radiated a faint glow.

Yet, it paled in comparison to his almost translucent, porcelain-like skin.

Among his striking features, his eyes, reminiscent of a crystal-clear glacier, were undoubtedly the most captivating and memorable.

They were so pure, without any impurities, that they seemed to reflect his face perfectly, giving off an otherworldly, eerie beauty.

However, his neck was too slender, and his jawline lacked any excess flesh.

The collar of his Battle Suit revealed part of his collarbone, which was unusually prominent.

Although he was 17, aside from his height, he looked completely immature, and Riveria felt that no one would suspect him of being older than 14 or 15.

For some reason, despite their significant age gap, his appearance reminded Riveria of Ais when they first met last year…

This poor kid, did he even eat properly?

He really needed to supplement his diet.

Come to think of it, he had been wearing those tattered clothes for days; with winter approaching, she should take him shopping for some new ones…

When Riveria realized she was thinking about such trivial matters, she was taken aback.

    What was she thinking, anyway?

Snapping back to reality, Riveria quickly averted her gaze, trying to withdraw her hand.

However, Noah refused to let go, instead gripping her hand even tighter, to the point where Riveria felt a slight pain.

This guy, didn’t he know how to be gentle with an Elf female?

With a mind full of battle, he’d probably end up alone and unloved in the future, wouldn’t he?

Wait, why was she worried about his future?

As Riveria thought about this, her expression turned disdainful and resigned.

    “Let go!”

Sensing the change in Riveria’s tone, Noah’s eyes lit up, and his spirit lifted.

“Riveria, does that mean you’ll let me go to the Dungeon?!”

The usually elegant Elf Princess couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

That sassy gaze appeared on her refined, intelligent, and somewhat sacred pale face, giving off a fresh, lively, and charmingly lazy vibe.

“When did I say you couldn’t go?”

    Noah’s eyes widened in surprise.

“Then what are you doing here?”

As if to say “I’m too lazy to say another word,” Riveria half-closed her eyes, tucked her staff under her arm, and used her free hand to lift her robe, revealing the pouch tied to her slender waist.

“Of course, I’m following you. With your skills, I figured you’d dare to rush to the 17th or 18th floor.”

Looking at the Elf girl, who seemed to be saying “thank me” with a hint of a smile in her eyes, Noah blinked and released Riveria’s hand.

    Then!

Before the Elf Princess could react, Noah reached out and grasped her slender waist under her robe, lifting her high into the air.

    “Long live Riveria!”

The completely unexpected situation left the Elf Princess stunned, her mind a blank.

Especially the strange sensation coming from the sensitive area around her waist, which had never been touched by anyone before, made her face turn bright red, as if she had been struck by lightning, and she froze, unsure of how to react.

Her long legs couldn’t find their footing, and she could only instinctively kick at the air.

    “Idiot! Let me down!!”

But Noah didn’t care, spinning Riveria around in mid-air several times.

Finally, Riveria, who had reached her limit, raised her fist, her pale hand backing showing a vein…

    “BOOM!!”

    “Ow!!”

A loud, clear sound echoed through the courtyard, and Noah landed on his head, forming a ‘ta’ shape as he fell to the ground.

The protruding part referred to her long sword.

“It’s unbelievable! You actually did something like that to a member of the opposite sex! Don’t you have any common sense?”

Riveria’s face was red, as if it was about to bleed, and she was gritting her teeth as she adjusted her robe, giving Noah a disgusted look.

“Don’t you know that an Elf’s body can’t be touched casually?”

However, it was Riveria who was left stunned after speaking.

She touched the area around her waist, which still had a strange sensation, and then placed her hand in front of her, slightly furrowing her brow.

    Huh?

It seemed… there was no feeling of rejection?

All Elves have a strong dislike for being touched by others, and the more severe cases will even reject contact with other Elves.

However, Absolute wasn’t at the point where someone could touch her waist without her noticing…

    Could it be?

As a guess floated to the surface of Riveria’s mind, she suddenly caught a whiff of a faint, sweet scent.

    Hmm?

Her sensitive nose twitched slightly as Riveria turned to look around, her gaze slowly focusing on her own hand.

Without a doubt, the scent was coming from her palm.

Could it be that it was transferred when Noah held her hand earlier?

Riveria instinctively lowered her head, taking a sniff of her own palm.

A refreshing, minty lemon-like scent wafted into her nostrils, transporting Riveria back to the white gardens of Alfheim.

The courtyard was bathed in warm, honey-like sunlight, with butterflies flitting about exotic flowers she had never seen before, and the elegant sound of a harp drifting through the air…

Riveria felt her cheeks grow hot, but her mind remained surprisingly clear.

Yet, a faint sense of warmth and loneliness lingered in her heart, refusing to be shaken off.

Until a cold gust of wind blew by, jolting Riveria back to reality, making her realize how inappropriate her actions had been.

No, it was beyond just being inappropriate.

    It was downright infatuated…

As if her hand was dirty, Riveria shook it vigorously before lowering it, feeling the cold wind slowly die down.

Fortunately, no one had discovered her…

Just as Riveria thought this, she met a pair of bewildered golden eyes peeking out from behind the door of Twilight Manor.

“Riveria, what were you just doing?”

In that instant, Riveria’s toes curled up tightly in her boots, as if trying to stifle a scream: THUD!
