Chapter 47 Ais: I can be Noah’s wife!
After the last rays of sunset faded, the night sky revealed twinkling stars and a bright moon, dazzling lights spilled out from between the buildings, mixed with sounds of joy and laughter.
When Noah and the others returned to Twilight Manor, the Familia dinner had already ended, and the members were busy with their own affairs, so there weren’t many people to welcome them.
However, no matter how busy the Familia was, there was one guy who always seemed to be at ease.
“Good evening! My lovely Familias! Welcome home! Ais-chan! Come here for a hug! You must have missed me after a whole day, right?! Woof!!!”

Even with a massive backpack, Ais easily dodged Loki’s face-first tackle, her small face showing clear disdain as she looked at the heap on the ground.
Riveria had long learned to ignore Loki to avoid wasting time.
After taking off her backpack, she helped Ais with hers while glancing at Noah.
“Noah, go take a shower first, then head to Loki’s room to update your Ability Value.”
Noah also took off his backpack, which mainly carried the massive Magic Stone from Goliath and other loot.
“Huh? I only fought for a day, is it really necessary? I want to eat first; I’m starving.”
Noah remembered that the usual Ability Value updates were done every ten days to half a month, or before major adventures like expeditions.
After all, with a large Familia like Loki’s having over 40 individuals, doing it daily would wear out Loki’s fingers.
“Noah! I want to see!”
Before Riveria could speak, Ais, who had been silent since Noah defeated Goliath, suddenly chimed in.
Although her delicate face was filled with fatigue, it still shone with a hard brilliance like a sword.
In those molten-gold eyes, Noah felt a mix of pleading and anticipation, like a kitten pawing at his leg for food.
Upon hearing this, Riveria immediately raised her eyebrows and grasped Ais’s shoulders.
“Ais! The Ability Value is a secret for every Adventurer! You’re being too demanding!”
But Ais showed her stubborn nature at that moment, puffing her cheeks, not even looking at Riveria, just staring intently at Noah.
“I know, but I promise I absolutely won’t let it slip! Plus, I can show my Ability Value to Noah!”
“Is that the issue?”
“What’s going on? You all saw it, didn’t you, Riveria? You guys get to see, but I don’t? That’s just not fair!”
Noah noticed that Riveria’s face was reddening with anger.
“You! I’m Noah’s teacher and the vice captain of Familia! What’s your relationship with Noah? What gives you the right to interfere?”
Ais was taken aback, but not for long.
She glared at Noah with wide eyes, clenched her fists, and puffed out her cheeks, as if making a crucial decision…
“I, I can be Noah’s wife too! That should be okay, right?!”
The room fell silent, with all eyes on her, BOOM!
Ais, what have you done?!
You’re getting me into trouble!
Before Noah could react, Loki leaped into the air, spreading her arms and legs like a giant spider, and pounced on him.
“Noah, you beast! What did you do to my Ais?!”
Caught off guard, Noah struggled to defend himself, grabbing Loki’s hands and twisting them behind her back, pinning her to the ground, and finally managing to subdue the frenzied goddess.
Even after being restrained, Loki continued to rant and rave.
“Noah, you ungrateful beast! Ais is so young, and you’ve got the nerve to lay a hand on her! You’ve let me down, and you’ve let Mama-san down after all the effort she’s put into training you! I’ll have you know that you’ll face justice from Asteria Familia!”

Just as he let out a sigh of relief, Noah looked up to see Riveria’s face growing darker, her Alf powers on the verge of boiling over.
Clearly, if Noah can hear those discussions, Riveria can too.
Even the stubborn Ais, at this moment, couldn’t help but shrink back like a pigeon, trembling as she looked at Riveria, as if trying to evoke the motherly love within the Elf Princess.

‘You just wait,’ after leaving Ais that look, Riveria walked away.
Watching Riveria’s departing figure, Ais couldn’t help but shiver.
Meanwhile, Noah sighed, feeling more exhausted than after a day of slaying monsters in the dungeon.
