Chapter 99 Medea (Caster): Your brother, he’s quite the smooth talker.
Enzou Mountain, nestled within the mountains southwest of Fuyuki City, is a convergence point of many Leylines, a hub of ManaFlow, with a massive Large Hole lying beneath it.
Leylines are also known as dragon veins, hence the Large Hole is called the Dragon’s Lair, a cave where dragons are said to dwell.
The “Ryūdō Temple” built on this mountain draws its name from the same origin.
Perched high in the mountains, Ryūdō Temple is sparsely populated, with only a blue stone staircase shrouded by a Dense Forest leading down, its surroundings visible at a glance, making it a naturally defensible position.
That such a place has not been conquered by a Master to be used as a base is truly due to a series of fortuitous coincidences.
The Three Great Mage Families, aware of Ryūdō Temple’s significance, control Leylines only slightly less potent than Enzou Mountain’s; to forsake a Magecraft Workshop built over generations for a bit more Mana would be unwise.
Masters from abroad, in their haste, can scarcely familiarize themselves with Fuyuki City, let alone uncover the location of the mountainous Ryūdō Temple.
Moreover, as Ryūdō Temple lies at the heart of Fuyuki City’s Leyline convergence, even the slightest fluctuation would be felt across the land, making it an excellent tactical base but strategically exposed and unshielded.
Even though the Three Great Families have not taken Ryūdō Temple for themselves, they’ve stationed numerous Servants around it for surveillance.
This is precisely why Noah, upon discovering Ryūdō Temple, did not make a move right away.
He might just barely manage to set up a Barrier and absorb Mana, but completely concealing his presence would be nearly impossible.
If he, a Servant, were discovered to have arrived a year early, the fun would truly begin.
Only after confirming that Medea (Caster), a divine generation Magus, had formed an alliance with him did Noah prepare to act.
The time was dusk, the hour of the ogre, when the natural fluctuations of the Leylines could mask their actions.
The Ryuudo family, custodians of Ryūdō Temple, were once a Magecraft Family, but now they are in decline; even their descendants are oblivious to their history, making them easy prey for Matou Kariya’s invitation.
As soon as dusk fell, Noah burst out of the Matou mansion, covering the distance that would normally take an ordinary person an hour in just half a minute to reach Ryūdō Temple.
If not for Sakura Matou in his arms, he could have crossed the distance in just a few breaths.
What truly impressed Noah, however, was Medea (Caster)’s high-speed chanting.
Seeing Medea (Caster)’s rosy lips move at a seemingly tenfold Speed, uttering profound and intricate incantations, Noah had to widen his eyes, feeling… he couldn’t understand a single word!
Although it seemed like Medea (Caster) was simply accelerating her chanting, it was actually a high-level technique of replacing an entire passage of Magecraft incantation with a single syllable.
Incantations are the hints a caster gives their own Body to activate and manipulate Magecraft.
If a single syllable can replace an entire passage, then there is no real difference, which is what high-speed Incantation is all about.
But Medea (Caster)’s chanting method was even more remarkable……High-Speed Divine Language Arts.
This Skill is very rare and precious even among Casters.
Because ‘Divine Language’ is the superior formula language used in every mythological era, condensing any lengthy Magecraft Incantation into one or 2 words.
But this language is beyond the capacity of the human vocal apparatus to reproduce.
Still, I want to learn it.
While Noah was muttering that, Medea (Caster) had already used her Territory Creation skill to envelop the entire Ryūdō Temple within a Barrier, transforming it into a ‘Divine Chamber’ surpassing a Magecraft Workshop.
Although it was still fragile now, as Mana continued to accumulate, the Divine Chamber would become a stronghold comparable to a fortress.
But Medea (Caster) did not relax her expression; instead, she beckoned to Noah.
“Come.”
Medea (Caster) knew very well that this stronghold, while strong, was not impregnable against those high-ranking Heroic Spirits.
The person she could truly rely on was only Noah; she could only do her best with the logistics.
Noah nodded, put down Matou Sakura, and stepped into the Magic Circle Medea (Caster) had hastily set up.
Within the entire Holy Grail System, only establishing a passage to the World Outside and summoning Heroic Spirits from the Throne of Heroes proved difficult for Medea (Caster).
Based on this part, the Command Spell system was also something Medea (Caster) found troublesome.
It wasn’t that Command Spells were difficult to make, Medea (Caster) said they were just Mana aggregates, as long as she had enough Mana, she could make as many as she wanted.
But how to use Mana to achieve forced control over Servants was something she couldn’t quite figure out.
Simply put, she had the bullets, but without a gun, those bullets couldn’t hit their target.
If the Servants willingly released their restrictions, she could manipulate them, but that wouldn’t be very meaningful.
If Servants were already willingly accepting Magecraft control, then what was the point of researching Command Spells?
Command Spells would only be meaningful if they could be imposed on Servants who didn’t want to be controlled.
Noah thought, however, that it was perfectly normal that she couldn’t figure it out; it would be more concerning if she could.
If it were so easy to create Command Spells with powerful effects on other Servants, what would be the point of the Holy Grail War?
Changing the object that provided Mana, however, was a simple task for Medea (Caster); it was a relatively shallow part of the Servant system.
After Noah entered the Magic Circle, Medea (Caster) pulled out a unique-looking dagger.
It was her Noble Phantasm, the All-Breaking Symbol.
Holding her Noble Phantasm, Medea (Caster) didn’t attack directly; instead, she crossed her arms, a mischievous smile on her face as she looked at Matou Sakura.
“Come now, little girl,” she said.
Matou Sakura was no longer the innocent girl she usually was.
Instead, she frowned, her eyes filled with suspicion and disgust as she glared at Medea (Caster), her lips pursed into a pout.
But this icy attitude, displayed on her youthful face, lacked any real intimidation; it was more like a puffed-up kitten, eliciting pity rather than fear.
She hated her, hated her, hated her.
The woman who had suddenly appeared in her home the day before.
Although the opponent wore a hood like the wicked witch who poisoned Snow White in fairy tales, Matou Sakura knew from her voice alone that she was undoubtedly a stunning beauty.
She must be far more beautiful than Mother.
But she’s definitely a bad woman!
For Matou Sakura, who had long been particularly attentive to Asagami Fujino and wished to drive her away from Noah, seeing another strange woman in the house, and an adult beauty at that, it was hard not to bristle.
But if that were all, Matou Sakura would have endured it.
Although she didn’t fully understand things like Servants, the Holy Grail, and Command Spells, Matou Sakura could sense that Noah and Matou Kariya were preparing for something very important.
This woman named Medea (Caster) seemed to be a very important friend to Noah.
She needed to be sensible and not act out.
But, but, what did it mean when she said things like ‘Your big brother is so smooth, with a great body,’ ‘Soon, your big brother’s body will be filled with my things,’ ‘We’re about to perform a sacred rite with your help,’ ‘Don’t worry, you’ll feel some involvement’…
Even though Matou Sakura was only 5 or 6 years old, she could feel the deep malice from these ambiguous words!
Big brother is mine!
For the past year, it was me who ate, slept, and bathed with big brother!
Even Asagami Fujino only dared to do bad things in secret, thinking Matou Sakura wouldn’t notice, but she was very aware and chose to ignore them.
But this hateful woman dared to provoke me right from the start!
What should I do?
I want to bite her to death!!
Looking at Matou Sakura’s face flushed red with anger, Medea (Caster) barely managed to restrain her smile.
Ah, how adorable.
This was probably an instinct etched between the sexes, where men enjoy stealing other men’s women, and women, even more adept at vying for affection, have this competitive ability ingrained in their nature, almost mastering it without instruction.
Even Medea (Caster) found it hard to resist this pleasure.
Seeing the little girl’s expression, like she wanted to bite me to death but couldn’t do anything about it, a wave of pleasure welled up inside me uncontrollably.
The frustration I felt from being annoyed by Noah dissipated a lot.
The only problem was that this kind of happiness was a bit too complicated to think about.
For example, is it because he gets the wife that the yellow-haired guy is happy, or is he happy because he sees the pain of the victim?
If it’s the latter, then simplified, isn’t it saying that the yellow-haired guy gets happiness from the victim?
“Eh?”
“Sakura?”
After waiting left and right in the Magic Circle and not getting any results, Noah couldn’t help but turn his head and look at Matou Sakura with confusion.
That look made Matou Sakura take a deep breath, suppressing all the emotions in her heart and restoring her calmness.
Big brother is going to leave…
Although no one told her, this premonition had been filling Matou Sakura’s heart for some time now.
Thinking that the warm embrace that had pulled her back from the edge of hell might leave forever, leaving her alone in the world again, Matou Sakura felt like a piece of her was missing.
Not sadness, not loneliness, not grievance, but emptiness, as if a large hole had appeared in her chest.
It was as if something inside her Body was flowing out, her Body gradually becoming cold, but she couldn’t even cry.
In her somewhat dazed consciousness, only a single thread of thought remained, which she clung to desperately.
Don’t give Big brother Trouble.
That’s what Big brother wants.
I have to be obedient, I have to endure, I have to help him…
Bitting her lip, Matou Sakura raised her right arm and slowly uttered the words Noah had given her earlier in a childish voice.
“With the Command Spell, I command…”
A massive amount of Mana surged into her body, Noah couldn’t help but tense his Body slightly, but some of it still leaked out, transforming into Electric Arcs in the air and exploding, scattering into a strong wind.
But strangely, the Electric Arcs that should have easily vaporized steel spread out, but the Ryūdō Temple’s floor tiles remained untouched.
In an instant, Noah gained hundreds of times more mana than before, and his eyes lit up slightly.
Huh, I can finally fight a wealthy battle!
BlessingMagic can be used as long as I want!
Artoria, Artoria, now I will let you learn more about what a violent warrior is!
At this time, Medea (Caster) was even more satisfied.
Through Matou Sakura’s cooperation, she has obtained a part of the MasterPermission and can view Noah’s values.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t look, but once you do, it can make Medea (Caster) feel all fluttery, causing her Breathing Technique to involuntarily quicken.

We won!
We won!
Not to mention the full A-rank attributes, just that Inherent Barrier alone makes Medea (Caster) drool.
This miracle, which erodes reality with mental imagery to almost create a small world governed by its owner, is something even Medea (Caster) can’t achieve, and is exceptionally rare even in the Age of Gods.
The only problem is that a Servant with such skills has descended as a Berserker, the class least related to Magecraft!
How is she, as a Caster, supposed to deal with this!
I really want to dissect him to see what kind of structure allows for such a Noble Phantasm.
However, Medea (Caster) had long accepted that Noah is a monster among monsters, and quickly regained her composure, preparing to discuss the next tactical issues with him.
But Noah suddenly gave her a look, signaling that he was leaving.
Huh?
What does that mean?
Are you just going to throw me away after using me?
What a world-class scumbag?!!
Medea (Caster), who was getting impatient, couldn’t help but pause for a moment when she saw Matou Sakura behind Noah, and then left with a complicated expression.
This little devil, who always drove people to the brink of death and was a battle maniac, was actually being so gentle with a little girl.
Thinking about this, the pleasure Medea (Caster) had gained from scolding Matou Sakura earlier completely dissipated, leaving only a hint of jealousy and admiration in her heart.
After a while, Medea (Caster) shook her head, threw away those emotions, and continued to set up the Barrier at Ryūdō Temple.
In the upcoming Holy Grail War, Medea (Caster) had no intention of leaving Ryūdō Temple, planning to stay here until the end of time.
As for the battles outside, she would leave them all to Noah, and she only needed to take care of the household and provide Mana.
Medea (Caster) was quite confident about this.
Hmm, it feels a bit like being a full-time housewife waiting for her husband to come home?
Medea (Caster)’s expression turned slightly strange as she recalled the soap opera she watched that morning.
After Medea (Caster) left, Noah looked at Matou Sakura, who seemed calm but had an empty gaze that even she didn’t notice, and gently picked her up.
“Sakura, you’ve worked hard.”
