Chapter 4 A Night Spent with a Beautiful Girl

Back at the residential building where he lived.

Asakura nonchalantly locked the door behind him, this 2-story house originally being where he lived with his parents.

Ever since his parents left for overseas 2 years ago due to special circumstances, he was now the only one left.

    “We’re safe.”

Momo let out a sigh of relief, if she got caught and taken back this time, it would be troublesome to try and escape again.

She looked around, finding that there didn’t seem to be anyone else around.

“Asakura-sama, you live in such a big house all by yourself?”

Asakura took out a new pair of indoor shoes and placed them on the floor.

He explained, “My parents are overseas, and I don’t have any siblings, so I live alone.”

“That’s so pitiful, living alone must be really lonely, right?” Momo said with a sweet smile, her right hand supporting her chin.

Asakura felt a sense of distance between them.

When a girl smiles at a guy, there are 2 possibilities: either they’re close, or they’re not on good terms.

With his guard up, this girl was at least more difficult to get along with than he was.

“Don’t mind my situation, let’s get you changed into some shoes first.” Asakura didn’t let his guard down, even though she was a beautiful girl.

Zhang Wuji’s mother once said that the more beautiful a woman is, the more she can deceive people.

And the more skilled she is at playing with men.

A single misstep, and a lifetime of happiness can disappear in an instant.

“Asakura-sama is so kind, you must be really popular with the ladies, right?” Momo teased, noticing the fearful expression on his face.

She rarely interacted with men, and the aliens she met at intergalactic parties were all unattractive, not meeting the Deviluke people’s standards of beauty.

In short, she had a crush on him, no, she was love-struck at first sight!

“I’m single, I don’t have any dating history, I’ve never overstepped boundaries with girls, and my dream for the future is to make the people I care about happy.” Asakura said with a straight face.

“Really?” Momo finished changing into her shoes and followed him out of the entrance hall.

The first floor had a kitchen and living room, as well as a bathroom, while the second floor had a total of 4 rooms, with two of them empty.

“Of course, I never lie to beautiful girls…” Asakura started to say, but then suddenly remembered that this girl was a mysterious stranger, so he stopped himself from continuing.

The words “conglomerate heiress” alone made Asakura not want to get involved.

He yearned for a daily life free of trouble, and disliked anything that could bring him problems.

“Asakura-sama, thank you for letting me stay. I’ll do my best to repay you.” Momo bowed slightly, her tone serious.

Most guys wouldn’t be willing to bring a girl like her back to their place, and even if they were, they’d probably have ulterior motives.

Momo possessed a special ability that allowed her to communicate with plants, and when she arrived, she overheard the plants in the courtyard chatting.

The person who carefully tended to the garden and cherished the plants every day was probably not a bad person.

“Is running away from home a trend among high school girls now?” Asakura asked with concern: “If you, a young lady, were to encounter a pervert while out at midnight, it would be very dangerous.”

    “Running away from home…?”

    Momo revealed an embarrassed expression.

But I’m not a young lady, though.

Should I tell him that I’m actually an alien?

Momo turned her head and glanced at the small, black, spade-shaped tail swaying slightly behind her.

The tails of people from Deviluke were hard to conceal, but they could use a technique to distract humans from noticing it.

“It’s fine, I can handle perverts,” Momo said, waving her hand to indicate her confidence.

“Napoleon, the invincible, thought the same way until he met Waterloo,” Asakura muttered to himself.

Wait, why does this Napoleon reference feel like it’s been used many times before?

“Napoleon?” Momo tilted her head, unaware of Earth’s history.

“Nothing. I still need to cook, have you eaten dinner?”

Asakura was actually preparing not dinner, but tomorrow’s bento.

Having just acquired the skill, it would be a waste not to use it.

    “No.”

“Alright, I’ll make more then. The taste might not be as good as what you usually eat, so don’t mind it,” Asakura said, unaware of the extent of his proficiency as judged by the system.

Half an hour later, sitting at the dinner table and watching Momo devour her food, Asakura handed her a glass of water.

    “Eat slowly, there’s plenty more.”

“It’s delicious,” Momo said, feeling like she was about to tear up.

This is frustrating; I’ve been working so hard to improve my cooking skills, and yet a boy’s cooking is better.

My femi9 power has been utterly defeated, making me want to cry.

“I’m glad you like it,” Asakura said, his mood lifting as he watched her eat.

    “Of course, I love it~”

As soon as she finished speaking, Asakura stood up.

Momo looked concerned and asked, “What’s wrong?”

“I haven’t finished my homework,” Asakura said as he walked towards the dining room door, leaving behind his back and a parting phrase: “You eat first, and call me when you’re done so I can clean up.”

Momo nibbled on her chopsticks, a smile in her eyes.

    ‘Unexpectedly pure, Asakura-sama.’

    Is he shy?

He’s making up an excuse like that.

    Half an hour later.

“Today’s homework, isn’t it a bit too much?” Asakura rubbed his temples.

He wasn’t a genius; his ability to rank high in his class was all thanks to his hard work.

He sleeps after 12 every day, besides that, he keeps up at least 4 hours of extra study time every day, that is, not counting classes, he charges up an extra 4 hours every day.

Whether it’s at the Service Club or using the break time from working, it has to be at least 4 hours!

He hasn’t finished his goal today!

Humans are creatures full of laziness, once you give up once, the second, third, and so on will follow!

“Today, I might not be able to sleep until very late.”

Putting down his homework and looking at the clock, 10:32 PM.

Momo should be almost finished eating, he can go tidy up and help her arrange a place to sleep…

Going downstairs, opening the restaurant door, Asakura found everything had already been tidied up.

“Not a complete waste of life after all?”

In Asakura’s understanding, a young lady should be a creature who doesn’t touch anything worldly, but now that he’s gotten to know her, it doesn’t seem to be the case.

The sound of running water could still be heard, Asakura followed the sound and found the bathroom had lights on, and someone humming a song inside.

‘Too familiar? She’s treating this place like her own home?’

Standing in front of the bathroom door.

Asakura leaned against the door and asked: “Momo, do you have any clean clothes?”

    “No~ Asakura-sama”

Please, don’t speak with such a suggestive tone, Asakura’s heart wanted to escape this room right now.

“I’ll get you some clothes, but our house doesn’t have any clothes that fit a high school girl, if you don’t mind my…”

    “Not at all!”

“That’s good, I’ll put them at the door, and then, your room for tonight is at the end of the second-floor hallway, it’s always been cleaned and no one lives there. That’s all, I’ll go now.” Asakura finished speaking, blushing, and left the bathroom.

It was so hard to handle, but he had to endure it, otherwise, he might end up eating prison food tomorrow, and that wasn’t the future Asakura wanted.

As for Momo’s origins, Asakura Yuu didn’t really want to know.

After all, she only stayed for one night.
