    Chapter 119 Final Judgment Day

Temporal Displacement, Kuzuki suddenly wakes up,

In an instant, he transforms from lying down to standing upright, alertly observing the surroundings.

This time, the Dark Flower (Secret Mission) crossover is different from previous attempts.

It’s like being stuck in a blob of glue; it took great effort to squeeze through one side and escape.

Meanwhile, Kuzuki was drowsy and couldn’t perceive the outside world until now, when he regained his senses.

His first action upon waking was to observe the surroundings.

He is located on the rooftop of a high-rise building. From this vantage point, he can look down at the city with line of sight. The cold wind from the heights ripples his clothes.

From the distant billboards hanging between buildings, it’s clear that this place is far eastern Japan.

Time is roughly around 2 PM, in a modern era, and the location is Japan.

After making these rough deductions, Kuzuki moved about for a bit where he was standing.

As he moved, a fierce wind suddenly began to blow on the rooftop, like a typhoon being formed. Strong gusts of wind swept around him.

    “Hey!”

After throwing out another punch and creating a fierce wind, Kuzuki stopped his movements.

[Internal Energy is severely suppressed, Fighting Spirit is greatly weakened, only the Physical Body’s strength remains completely unrestricted ···]

The World’s Heaven and Earth Vital Energy is unusually thin, some Martial Arts that affect the environment are severely restricted.

Light distortion appears on Kuzuki’s body surface, an invisible protective aura surrounds him.

It’s only about a foot thick and extremely consumes Internal Energy.

He retracts the protective aura and prepares to leave this place.

Since it’s modern, gathering information is much easier.

Just as he was about to walk downstairs, Kuzuki suddenly gasps, a dangerous feeling surging in his mind.

    Malice creeps from all directions.

It’s not a specific individual but like Air turned into some deadly poison, Malice is everywhere in the air.

Kuzuki holds his breath and focuses his spiritual awareness on himself.

He feels tiny, microscopic life-like particles moving through his breathing system to invade his lungs.

    Cough!

Kuzuki’s chest heaves with rhythm as he suddenly coughs up a strand of black-red fibers.

The fiber falls to the ground, either because of wind or due to its life-like nature, causing it to tremble slightly on the ground.

The air is filled with this strange substance, which spreads through his body via his breathing system as he breathes in.

He’s not sure what this stuff is yet, but it’s definitely harmful. So Kuzuki immediately uses his internal energy to create a one-layer membrane over his breathing passages to block it from entering his body.

“Is the entire atmosphere filled with this substance, or just the air here? What effect does this substance have?” Everything is unclear, so Kuzuki tries to be as cautious as possible when encountering each abnormality.

A thunderous explosion sound echoes from the distance, flames shoot up into the sky, and thick smoke rises.

A wailing alarm begins to resonate through the city. The place of the explosion starts to riot.

Kuzuki has excellent vision and looks down at the scene from above along the street.

He sees a crowd about seven or eight miles away, where cars are blocked and people are agitated. The crowd begins to form a wave heading his way.

Further ahead, vehicles pile up like a chain collision, forming a black tidal wave that spreads rapidly toward him.

    “Rush! Rush!”

Two helicopters roar overhead and fly toward the chaotic scene.

Kuzuki furrows his brow and doesn’t use the stairs. He walks to the edge of the roof, spreads his arms, and leaps down.

This world cannot fly, but gliding through the air is still possible.

He flies like a wild goose, drawing an arc over the city and soaring more than 1,000 meters before landing on a residential rooftop.

As Kuzuki gets closer, he finally realizes what that dark wave is made of.

A thick crowd of humans gathers, running forward in an eerie formation. Their skin is blackened, mouths agape, and they roar like beasts without reason.

No, not human anymore—like zombies from a fantasy novel, they gather into a carpet-like wave stretching over the city to here and keep moving.

Within just 10 seconds, the Black Tide of Corpses surges forward, flipping and swallowing everything in its path.

Whether old folks, kids, women, or big guys, anyone caught gets tackled, bitten, and added to their ranks.

Among the fleeing crowd, some suddenly convulse uncontrollably and fall to the ground. Within 10 seconds, they transform into monsters chasing other lives.

The air grows heavier with malice as the black wave approaches, like dark clouds spreading from above.

A massive wave of monsters surges forward, rolling through buildings and crashing onto rooftops in waves of 7 to 8 feet.

    “Kakaka…”

The monster’s limbs twist as it crawls toward Kuzuki with a strange posture.

    “Bam!”

Kuzuki swings out a few punches, but the force is like a speeding iron hammer hitting soft tofu. Contact with the fist sends parts of the human body flying outward in an instant—pieces of bone, chunks of meat, and blood mix into a thick, radioactive substance that spreads around him.

His left hand stretches forward to grab a monster’s neck.

Kuzuki bends down with the monster in his grasp and then bursts upward.

A surge of strength erupts, flattening the rooftop while launching Kuzuki into the air like a rocket.

He bounces off several walls on one tall building before leaping onto a rooftop 100 meters high or more.

This place should be safe for now, but the spreading Black Corpse Tide clearly has a force separating and flowing into the building.

It won’t stay safe for long.

Kuzuki stands at the edge of the rooftop, ignoring the struggling guy in his hand as he gazes over the entire city with Line of Sight.

Where the eye can reach, the tide of corpses is invisible. Behind it, a normal world is being rapidly eroded.

It seems like some kind of apocalyptic world, and what Kuzuki is holding in his hand should be zombies.

But wait, are there any works where zombies are this twisted?

Mutation Speed only takes a few seconds, Strength and Speed surpass humans, and the flying speed approaches 10 meters per second.

    Variable Source···

Is it the source of this phenomenon or just an coincidence?

Kuzuki slightly squeezes the spine of the zombie he’s holding with his left hand.

The thing in his hand stops struggling and collapses lifelessly.

    [Still following basic biological principles···]

Before Kuzuki can continue thinking, the zombie he’s holding begins to mutate and transform. Each part is rapidly growing like cancer cells or parasitic spores.

Ugly tumors bulge out, burst open, revealing intertwining tendrils that absorb plates. The muscles actively split apart to form strong tentacles reaching toward Kuzuki.

Before the tentacles touch his body, Kuzuki throws away the monster he’s holding.

Under gravity, a strange, unformed meat tumor falls vertically and speeds up before crashing into the Black Tide of Corpses, creating waves.

This change surprises Kuzuki. In all his works, he has never seen this type of zombie.

A sudden wave of dizziness hits him, making Kuzuki look serious and toward the distance.

A glowing meteor rises from the ground with long tails of flames, piercing through cloud layers and entering the atmosphere. It then heads toward the city where Kuzuki is under multiple guided missile settings.

The sense of danger growing in Kuzuki’s mind intensifies, causing bumps to appear on his body surface.

    Nuclear Bomb.

The ultimate weapon humans have ever created is about to fall.

Without hesitation, Kuzuki turns around and starts fleeing the area.
