    Chapter 137 Realm’s Difference

“Well, Teacher Kuzuki, now we’re in a civilized society. Stabbing and shooting people, killing each other—that’s not right.”

Although Ryuudou Issei wanted to say that, he couldn’t bring himself to speak with the expectant, hopeful, and caring eyes of Kuzuki (from Issei’s perspective). So Ryuudou Issei stayed silent.

Kuzuki blinked curiously and said, “Then, let’s start the summer vacation training.”

“Huh? What was that about? Did you just now decide to make it official?”

Ryuudou Issei responded quietly to A Sound, realizing that his training had been for Assassin’s Fist. His strength disappeared halfway.

    “First, do 100 push-ups, then 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and finally run 10 kilometers.”

    “Understood.”

Ryuudou Issei answered A Sound and moved his limbs, beginning to train.

After Ryuudou Issei finished, it would take more than an hour. Kuzuki jumped onto the large stone in the Open Space and sat down to cultivate while waiting.

Thus, under the bright sunlight of a clear morning, within a mountain open space, both began their own daily training journeys.

Half an hour later, Ryuudou Issei panted heavily as he ran back to the edge of the stone. He looked up at Kuzuki sitting on the stone and asked, “Teacher Kuzuki, you’re done. What’s next?”

Kuzuki opened his eyes and said, “Rest for a bit first, then do some real training.”

Ryuudou Issei sat down on the stone to recover his strength.

“Cough, Teacher Kuzuki used to be what? He never mentioned it. Did he teach me?”

“He was a teacher in another city.”

Hmm…not from the assassin organization. That’s good.

Ryuudou Issei chuckled twice and said, “I’m really curious about the fist techniques you taught me, Teacher Kuzuki. Do you know their origins?”

    “Curious? I see.”

Ryuudou Issei stubbornly said, “It’s fine; I’m just really curious.”

Kuzuki nodded and explained the history of Hokuto Shinken (Fist of the North Star).

“Hokuto Shinken (Fist of the North Star) is a martial arts technique inherited from the Han–Roman period, involving secret acupuncture points that allow one to kill an enemy internally. To master Hokuto Shinken, it’s essential to understand the human body.”

Ryuudou Issei disregards the Assassin’s Fist explanation and continues asking: “Secret Acupuncture Points?”

“You can learn about that after you join.”

Although Kuzuki didn’t explain, Ryuudou Issei assumes it might refer to ‘meridians’ or ‘vessels,’ so he doesn’t pay much attention.

Ten minutes later, Kuzuki stands face-to-face with Ryuudou Issei.

    “Go all out at me.”

Ryuudou Issei nods and pulls open a shelf before suddenly moving, his powerful leg muscles contracting as he charges forward.

Before following Kuzuki’s previous lesson, Ryuudou Issei had been walking two hours to and from school every day. His leg training was on par with professional athletes, and after learning the Hokuto Shinken Breathing and Walking Technique, his physical potential was unlocked, resulting in incredible leg strength.

    “Screw it!”

He exerts his waist, bends his knees, and swings his right fist out with a hollow sound, charging directly at Kuzuki’s face.

Kuzuki raises one hand and smashes Ryuudou Issei’s Fist with a “BLAP” sound using his palm.

Ryuudou Issei remains calm, smoothly lifting his knees and sweeping his legs. Such a brutal strike could even break a thick wooden column, hitting Kuzuki’s left arm as if it were made of iron. Kuzuki barely flinches!

    “Shit!”

Ryuudou Issei twists his spine and rotates his upper body, elbowing Kuzuki’s throat with a sharp stab. If that strike lands, it would pierce through the fragile throat like a plastic membrane.

The brutal elbow strike barely connects before Ryuudo instinctively holds back three-tenths of his power and slows down.

Kuzuki furrows his brow, suddenly stepping forward and ramming Ryuudou Issei’s throat with his elbow. This sends him flying backward seven or eight steps.

    “No need to hold back.”

Ryuudou Issei stabilizes his stance, looking suspiciously at Kuzuki. He feels like Kuzuki’s throat is tougher than a tire.

    “I see.”

Taking two deep breaths on the spot, Ryuudou Issei suddenly steps forward and unleashes a flurry of punches.

    “Crash! Crash! Bam-bam!”

In the Dense Forest, a figure flew up and down, circling around another person, and the sound of two fists and feet hitting each other continued in the air.

Ryuudou Issei even used Karate’s Tech, and the attack was like a wave of continuous attacks, but he couldn’t make Kuzuki retreat even a step.

    “Child Pigeon Chest.”

Kuzuki’s arm Phantom flashed and hit Ryuudou Issei’s Body.

The latter immediately fell into darkness and could not see anything clearly.

Just as Ryuudou Issei took two steps back in panic, Kuzuki said calmly: “Remember this position, use your Qi to perceive, hit this Secret Acupuncture Point, You will temporarily lose your sight.”

After a long while, Ryuudou Issei’s vision returned. However, just as he could see the Surroundings clearly, he saw Kuzuki teleport in front of him and tapped a certain part of his body.

This time, one of Ryuudou Issei’s feet suddenly shook uncontrollably, causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground.

    “Blood Sea.”

Ryuudou Issei was trying to control the unruly foot, and after the reaction came over, he was surprised and said: “Is this Secret Acupuncture Points? It’s just like the spell skills in the Games…”

“There are some Secret Acupuncture Points, the effects are not suitable for practice, just listen and remember them.”

Then Kuzuki taught Ryuudou Issei the names, locations, and effects of each Secret Acupuncture Point.

“When you have mastered the Fighting Spirit, use the Fighting Spirit to hit the Secret Acupuncture Points, and you will be able to achieve this effect.”

Ryuudou Issei wiped his sweat upon hearing this, and secretly warned himself not to try these Secret Acupuncture Points on humans, because most of the Secret Acupuncture Points have very brutal effects, causing head explosions or limb damage at any time, worthy of being called the Fist of Assassination.

Next, Ryuudou Issei walked to One Side alone and began to practice against the tree.

Although he was not going to use it on humans, But it is always better to be more skilled.

Kuzuki looked at Ryuudou Issei who was cultivating seriously, and it was as if he saw another figure who was also working hard.

    Asagami Fujino.

Kuzuki had taught her Hokuto Shinken (Fist of the North Star) at first, but unfortunately she gave up after practicing for a few days and turned her energy to Wing Chun. Later, Kuzuki passed on the Northern Darkness Divine Skill and Military Killing Fist cultivation methods to her through Fujino’s mother, but I don’t know if she practiced them…

Putting aside his boring reverie, Kuzuki continued his Daily Life Cultivation.

    At noon.

Kuzuki and Ryuudou Issei stopped moving and started eating. Lunch was a bento, four kelp rice balls and some vegetables.

Ryuudou Issei is shirtless, revealing his well-built upper body. He swallows a rice ball greedily while One Side continues to speak.

“Teacher Kuzuki, how strong are you?”

“Without specific benchmarks, the results will inevitably be inconsistent with reality.”

“Just like the ranking system in Karate, one rank, two ranks… five ranks. Teacher Kuzuki claims to be what rank?”

Kuzuki stops moving and thinks for a moment: “Five ranks because that’s as high as it goes.”

‘He has already exceeded the limits of the ranking system, huh. From Teacher Kuzuki’s performance, he really is like that.’

“Are you asking about my Combat Power?”

Ryuudou Issei freezes for a moment and asks: “Teacher Kuzuki also reads Comics? Yeah, I guess that works.”

Kuzuki thinks for a moment: “Normally, my Combat Power is around 7,300. At full power, it can reach up to 20,000.”

“20,000? Then Teacher Kuzuki could Explode Star! No, no, that’s way too exaggerated!” Ryuudou Issei exclaims in surprise.

“There’s still a long way to go before reaching that level.”

“Then I guess…” Ryuudou Issei wipes away cold sweat and takes a deep breath, saying: “In Teacher Kuzuki’s eyes, what is my Combat Power? It should be over five, right?”

    A crystal-like light flashes in Kuzuki’s pupils: “Around 50.”

Ryuudou Issei’s body stiffens for a moment, like being stared at by an ancient giant beast, filled with unease.

This feeling only lasts for a short time, so Ryuudou Issei doesn’t pay attention to it. He pushes his glasses up and says: “Teacher Kuzuki’s Combat Power is just 200 times mine. It’s incredible… I get so motivated thinking that even 200 of me combined wouldn’t match Teacher Kuzuki.”

Kuzuki remains silent, not correcting Ryuudou Issei’s statement.

A difference of 200 times isn’t about adding up; it’s exponential.

In a real battle, even if you had 40,000 Ryuudou Issei fighting together, it would only make Kuzuki work a little harder.

“Thank you for the meal. I’m full.” Ryuudou Issei bows with both hands.

Let’s start the afternoon training next…
