Chapter 14 Out of the Blue – Unexpected Battle
No signs of preparation whatsoever, Kuzuki launched an attack with surprising speed.
Bang!
The stealthy Leopard low growls remained imperceptible as Kuzuki’s muscles spasms like waves, exerting maximum force through his contracted muscles.
Between electric sparks and instantaneous flashes of light, he broke through the air and struck the black guard behind him.
Five Forms Fist – White Crane in Search of Food!
He paused his attack with a motion that seemed to freeze time, Kuzuki’s hand resting on the back of the unprepared guard who made no noise and promptly fell.

He twisted and dropped to his knees, his body folding like a surprised snake into its own den, rapidly approaching the target’s position beneath him.
The target remained oblivious to what had transpired, caught up in an intense state of shock before realizing he was under attack.
Faced with Kuzuki’s relentless assault like a specter of death, the target made no attempt to resist.
Poisonous Snake 99 Techniques – Conical Kill!
Without hesitation or mercy, Kuzuki unleashed his strongest combat technique.
His right arm suddenly extended upward in a manner that defied explanation, his shoulder pivoting with immense force before delivering a powerful strike through a spiral motion. The fabric of the target’s suit exploded outward as the sheer strength of this release tore through him.
His five fingers bunched together like fangs, striking the chest of the target with precision. As his hand made contact with the skin, the stored energy within his arm erupted into action!
Like a spinning drill bit penetrating soft tissue, Kuzuki’s arm broke through the target without any hindrance and exited behind him.
Under the strange force of the Conical Kill, the struck area displayed a horrifying scene resembling a fountain of blood and flesh. A massive gush of red blood and gore erupted from behind, spreading out like a funnel toward the rear wall where it dyed the surface entirely red!
The wound on Kuzuki’s chest was only the size of his palm, but in the area behind him, there was an enormous hole larger than a soccer ball. Everything within had been ejected and sprayed outward!
“Damn it, I wanted to kill this target without fail, so I didn’t hold back my attack… which left me unable to react properly in time…” Kuzuki suddenly halted his motion, glancing toward the third person he had placed last believing him to be a non-threat. He was taken aback by how someone he thought could be easily defeated was showing interest!
“The target has been dispatched… I don’t need to waste time…” Kuzuki wiped the blood from his body and turned toward the third individual, who had been placed last but perceived as a non-threat. He found himself intrigued by this person’s calm demeanor while he was still in shock!
The sight made him wonder if this person had any real issues at all… He was clearly disturbed.
Thump-thump…
Until then, the body of the bodyguard and another life form hit the ground one after the other with a loud thud each time.
The tall man in a white suit looked unfazed by the blood-stained walls. His throat suddenly swallowed a deep breath like an animal seeing food.
From some unknown moment, his normal black eyes turned red, filled with hunger and anger.
He licked his lips, revealing his teeth in a snarky tone: “Your precious tool has been destroyed. Use your life to pay the debt… but this material is so good—let it be recycled for me.”
[Is he not human? Is he a disguised human monster like a vampire, or in this world’s terms, a Dead Apostle?]
Kuzuki looked at the monster in front of him calmly, thinking silently.
[Not vampires… Dead Apostles. What method is needed to defeat them? Does pure physical force work? Can I judge the strength difference between me and them? Should I retreat temporarily if I can’t tell who’s stronger? Am I at their mercy, or could they have some hidden ability to track me?]

Kuzuki moved closer, maintaining the rhythm of his breathing as he approached cautiously.
“You still don’t understand what true fear is. I’ll show you.” When Kuzuki didn’t run away but came closer instead, the Dead Apostle man laughed openly.
The monster’s body exploded with a roar, its form ballooning to three meters tall before collapsing into a dark, muscular shape that looked both terrifying and repulsive.
Even though he saw something beyond imagination, Kuzuki still had no expression on his face, and his heart was as calm as ice.
Thump-thump…
Once he was close enough, his left arm exploded like a whip, striking the Dead Apostle’s body with force.
The monster didn’t flinch or dodge; it accepted the attack without hesitation.

A series of sounds hit the rubber surface, causing only slight indentations in muscles beneath the skin and no visible damage.

Ordinary attacks are ineffective; Kuzuki quickly changes his strategy. With five sharp fingers like needles, he strikes the target with precision, causing deep penetrating wounds in its flesh.

It springs to its feet, smashing toward Kuzuki with a massive body and mouth so large it could swallow an elephant. Its teeth are filled with sharp jagged teeth.

Kuzuki narrows his eyes, noticing the weakness in Dead Apostle as he springs upward. He kicks hard with his legs and tosses a whip while stepping forward.
“Plop!”
A loud resonance echoes from below, Kuzuki stompingly hitting Dead Apostle’s body. The target can’t release its grip as it crashes into the wall of the bathroom.
Glass fragments scatter everywhere due to the force of the blow, some slicing through Dead Apostle’s body.
He still stands unharmed!
It doesn’t care about the debris; it stands up from the broken pieces, allowing its wounds to heal while expelling glass fragments. Its broken bones are mended and internal organs restored.
[Is my attack too weak? Is this a type of attack that’s ineffective physically? While I’m much weaker than Dead Apostle in ‘tech,’ but his ‘body’ is far stronger than mine. Continuing like this, I’ll be eaten alive by him… and do I have any other hidden skills? I’ve already pushed myself to the limit without causing harm.]
Taking advantage of the moment when Dead Apostle’s injuries are healing, Kuzuki considers his next move before deciding to retreat.
This isn’t a safe place; there are armed personnel outside as well.
