Chapter 152 I’ll Shoot You to Death

Around noon, Medea (Caster), who disappeared earlier, suddenly came back.

She also brought back a bento box… even though it’s not homemade.

    Does Medea (Caster) have money?

After eating half of the bento, Kuzuki suddenly remembered this question. However, it’s not something important, so I can just ignore it.

In the afternoon, after school ends, Kuzuki goes to Ryūdō Temple as usual.

After walking for about half an hour, Medea (Caster) suddenly appears next to Kuzuki. There are no other people around, so no one saw her.

“What’s wrong, caster? Why did you choose to show yourself?”

Medea (Caster), still dressed in a mysterious long cloak, approaches Kuzuki and bows slightly: “master, the preparations are almost done. You can enjoy it now.”

Kuzuki nods in acknowledgment, scanning her body with a glance and looking toward the distance.

“So, I’ll just hand everything over to you, and I won’t interfere…?”

“Well, even though master has been strengthened by me, interfering in a Servant’s battle is still quite challenging. You should just stay safely behind, as it’s possible to break through the master’s weak point.”

Kuzuki doesn’t comment on Medea (Caster)’s words.

Since signing the contract with Medea (Caster), Kuzuki has never shown his strength in her presence. Currently, Medea (Caster) still believes he is a Life Force-possessing strong human and considers strategies without including him.

Although there was an error in their communication about Intelligence, Kuzuki didn’t intentionally mention this to her.

Medea (Caster) has already prepared the stage. Let her perform; it’s not yet time for Kuzuki to make his entrance.

There’s no need to say anything. Just stay quiet and protect him, and he’ll naturally come out when needed!

    Night Falls.

Shin’yama Town is divided by a road into two types of buildings: one side features Japan’s typical residential architecture, while the other side has foreign-style Western houses.

Despite being in an area with foreign architectural style, there are rarely any foreigners seen around. Even locals don’t see many people here; it feels slightly deserted.

The Matou Residence, located close to the Tohsaka Residence, is a grand two-story Western-style mansion with only three windows lit.

After leaving the Academy, Medea (Caster) brought Kuzuki to hide in the surroundings of Matou Residence, lurking in the dark.

A thousand meters away, Kuzuki and Medea (Caster) stood on the roof of a two-story house, looking towards Matou Residence.

“caster, what are you planning to do?” Kuzuki stood straight like an arrow in the cold wind, staring ahead and asking.

“The Servant Intelligence already knows. From now on, it’s just a matter of attracting trouble.” Medea (Caster) smiled and said: “master, you should wait here for a moment.”

Medea (Caster) stretched out her hand, and HecateSceptre’ fell into her grasp.

With a wave of the scepter’, a Mana barrier formed instantly to protect Kuzuki. At the same time, black smoke billowed from the house, revealing four armed skeletal archers guarding Kuzuki.

After doing that, she finally felt at ease and disappeared… so easy for such high-level Magecraft like Space transfer.

Kuzuki looked at the Mana barrier around him and the Dragon Tooth Soldiers. He decided to stay on the roof of the house.

[No intuition or sensing within five kilometers, is it a long-distance teleport type…]

Kuzuki tried using his superlative spiritual awareness, but he discovered that Medea (Caster)’s Space transfer distance was beyond his range. He could only follow the invisible connection and vaguely perceive her direction.

A moment later, at Matou Residence, the surroundings began to appear misty, with many black humanoid figures approaching from all sides.

Kuzuki narrowed his eyes, adjusting the focus of his pupils. The blue light flashed and captured the distant scene.

These Dragon Tooth Soldiers are at least two hundred in number, surrounding Matou Residence.

Each Dragon Tooth Soldier is as powerful as an ancient elite soldier.

Just as the Dragon Tooth Soldiers were about to approach the house, a purple figure suddenly jumped down from the second floor and landed inside.

It was Medusa (Rider), summoned by Matou Sakura. She has extremely high heels with long black hair cascading down her legs, giving her an almost lifelike appearance. Her forehead bore the Snake Form emblem, her eyes were hidden behind sunglasses, and her tightly pursed cherry lips held a sharp stake chain in her hand. Her demeanor was cold and unsettling.

However, this demeanor, combined with her outfit and figure, gave her an incredibly alluring charm that was undeniably captivating.

Unfortunately, the Dragon Tooth Soldiers are just controlled Servants without their own abilities. They attacked Medusa (Rider) without hesitation.

While the Dragon Tooth Soldiers are terrifying enemies to humans, they are merely cannon fodder for Servants, serving only to waste time and delay.

Even though we don’t know who is controlling these cannon fodders from behind the scenes, Medusa (Rider) isn’t planning to let these Dragon Tooth Soldiers attack Matou Residence go unanswered.

From the moment she laid eyes on Matou Sakura, she vowed to protect this young girl.

    Shriek!

Medusa (Rider) swings her chain like a living snake, twisting space with Distortion. The sharp ends of the chain resemble Poisonous Snakes, hissing and darting through the air. In an instant, it circles around once and burrows into the skull of a Dragon Tooth Soldier, shattering it.

    Blast!

Yanking the chain, it stiffens instantly and swings wildly, slicing through nearly forty Dragon Tooth Soldiers in a flash.

Medusa (Rider) moves like a fairy among the Dragon Tooth Soldiers, her unique Lock Chain Weapon transforming into Poisonous Snakes. She unleashes her wrath, shattering one Dragon Tooth Soldier after another.

A Dragon Tooth Soldier crumbles to dust with a crash. Given Medusa (Rider)’s speed in vanishing Dragon Tooth Soldiers, it wouldn’t take more than a minute for two hundred of them to be wiped out… if Medea (Caster) only had that kind of power.

Thick mist suddenly writhes like something alive, crackling and booming on the ground. One Dragon Tooth Soldier after another rises from the mist, fueled by endless supplies, attacking Medusa (Rider).

After nearly ten minutes, Medusa (Rider) has already killed over a thousand Dragon Tooth Soldiers. However, these Servants are still plentiful, though the mist is slightly thinner now.

Rider isn’t known for her endurance. This intense battle leaves Medusa (Rider) slightly out of breath, but she’s far from defeat. She wouldn’t rely on cannon fodder to beat a Servant; it’s impossible. At most, it would drain some of the Servants’ strength.

Just as Medusa (Rider) considers unleashing her Noble Phantasm to kill all enemies at once, all Dragon Tooth Soldiers suddenly stop moving and crumble into dust like sand.

“So they stopped after achieving their purpose. Did they retreat?” Medusa (Rider)’s long legs kick out forcefully as she flips onto the roof of Matou Residence, holding her chain sword and looking around.

Meanwhile, on Miyagawa Bridge three kilometers away…

Tohsaka Rin’s Servant, Emiya, startles slightly, now holding an ancient longbow. She notches an arrow and pulls back the bowstring, creating a spiraling sword in the air before attaching it to her bow!

    “What?”

Medusa (Rider) is startled, turning toward Emiya’s direction with a serious expression. She may not have x-ray vision, but she can feel a sharp Bloodlust like an icy sword tip locked onto her. If she shows any weakness, it will bring a devastating strike!

On the bridge end, Emiya holds her bow and slowly forms a full moon shape with it, her eyes closed yet revealing a faint starlight. When fully charged, she suddenly releases the bowstring!

The bowstring snaps back instantly, trembling violently. Only then does the sound of Air being torn apart by the bowstring echo through the air, followed by the disappearance of the invisible arrow. A flowing light flashes briefly in the atmosphere!

In Medusa (Rider)’s view, a starlight suddenly appears far away before rushing toward her at lightning speed from three kilometers out!

This arrow’s speed is nearly ten times the speed of sound!

Even so, Medusa (Rider)’s Agility can still dodge, but it cannot avoid because below is Matou Residence, and Sakura is within!

Facing the rapidly approaching starlight, Medusa (Rider) looks gravely concerned. In an instant, she makes a decision; this arrow must be blocked.

    Bellerophon (Bridle of Chivalry)(Bellerophon)!

A pure white horse with double wings born from the sky appears above them, and Medusa (Rider) rides it. At once, she transforms into a wild tornado racing through the storm!

A fantasy-class horse weighing over a ton, charging at 400-500 km/h, is capable of directly opposing Saber Excalibur (Sword of Promised Victory)’s powerful Noble Phantasm.
