    Chapter 158 Beat Lancer

A wasteland with countless unmastered tombs of swords, appearing as a red horizon, and in the distant sky, multiple massive gears intertwine.

When EMIYA’s incantation ends, this scene appears to everyone’s view.

    Unlimited Blade Works.

Let EMIYA, who is not a Noble Phantasm, possess the ability of Heroic Spirit and become an inherent barrier that contains all sword elements. Just by seeing the prototype, it can easily be copied out and materialized as The World.

He releases his own Ability from the bottom of his chest but feels no sense of security at all. EMIYA clearly understands how terrifying the other man’s power is.

In reality, he steps out on purpose to let Emiya Shirou and Tohsaka Rin escape.

There’s no chance for a direct battle in this World Line.

However, as long as that time comes, if they can escape this encounter, there will still be hope…

To achieve this goal, he nearly exhausts Mana from his Master and adds the convenience of being a Guardian. The inherent barrier is severely eroded to its limit.

All Heroic Spirits hidden in the church and surrounding casters, including Einzbern, are captured by him.

Thus, all four forces meet at this moment.

The caster, rider, and Bazett are all in a state of shock and confusion. Ilyasviel is surprised and frightened, while berserker stands beside her. Kotomine Kirei and Lancer look heavily toward this side. Only the King of Heroes remains haughty and dismissive, with a faint surprise deep in his eyes.

Despite the shock and unexpected changes on all sides, they all want to sit down and discuss before deciding whether to fight. However, one individual refuses to give them that chance.

    That individual is Kuzuki.

The moment EMIYA appears and during EMIYA’s incantation, Kuzuki had two opportunities to kill EMIYA but chose not to. Instead, he allowed EMIYA to expand his Barrier.

One reason is to allow himself to act without altering the landscape on a large scale. The other reason is to prevent other Servants from escaping.

As long as the Inherent Barrier isn’t destroyed, other Servants cannot return to reality, effectively turning it into a prison they cannot escape. This allows him to fight with all his strength without any hesitation.

    Thus, Kuzuki first targets Lancer.

His Noble Phantasm is very dangerous, so he wants to kill him in one go. The second target is the King of Heroes, whose Noble Phantasm can destroy barriers, so he will kill him next. Then he will deal with berserker, whose Noble Phantasm has twelve slots and cannot be killed immediately. Finally, he will kill EMIYA.

After deciding the order in his mind, Kuzuki moved his wrist slightly and turned his gaze toward Lancer.

The moment Lancer is caught in Kuzuki’s line of sight, he feels a sense of deja vu. He recalls his youth when he fought a wolf dog without any weapons, fearlessly challenging the beast. Now, fully armed with legendary weapons, it still doesn’t bring him peace.

    “Dodge!”

That terrifying Bloodlust, so obvious even to those with an IQ of 70, along with his unhidden Malice, makes Lancer easy to judge as the next target, even without Instinct or [Heart Eyes].

His pupil suddenly turned a wild crimson as he focused intently, instantly boosting all his abilities to their limits. In an Instant, his agility reached A level and beyond, allowing him to catch the enemy’s movement trail.

That was a relentless, unhesitant attack that followed the principle of straight-line distance, ignoring any obstacles in its path.

That was a strike that pierced the atmosphere, exceeding the speed of sound, without any exaggeration or flair.

A hundred meters flashed by in an instant. A towering figure like a ghost appeared before Cu Chulainn, only to vanish as it stepped forward with a casual stance and delivered a mundane punch.

No one could match Kuzuki’s movement speed.

Bazett, Tohsaka, Emiya, Ilyasviel, and others kept their Line of Sight focused on Kuzuki even after he moved; the caster and archer heroes also failed to notice his movements, only sensing changes in the Mana or intuition due to his actions. Only Emiya, rider, and berserker caught a glimpse of his movements, with their Line of Sight shifting as he moved, though they still fell short.

Amidst the silence, Cu Chulainn pushed his Reaction to its limits, with his body nearly collapsing from overexertion.

    “Move!”

Could he really lose to others in terms of speed? Why was something he once held in contempt so thick and sticky?

Cu Chulainn’s expression twisted with frustration. A tiny red gun in his hand blocked the Fist’s path, as he exerted his strength, stomping on the ground while slowly retreating.

    “Bam!”

The guns clashed, and then Cu Chulainn saw the Fist pause slightly before continuing its advance, engulfing the gun’s body as it struck his chest. A deafening explosion erupted, creating a massive mudslide that sent debris flying for tens of meters. A figure like a missile broke through the smoke, directly launching into the sky.

From Kotomine Kirei’s perspective, standing beside Cu Chulainn, he immediately realized something was wrong when he saw Kuzuki disappear. However, before he could react, a deafening explosion erupted right next to him, sending him flying like a tank had struck him. The shockwave knocked him several meters away, with his voice drowned out by the noise (as Lancer reminded him).

If not for his extraordinary body, he would have been killed outright by the first shockwave.

Kuzuki knocked Lancer away with a punch. Even before he moved, the fierce wind generated by the attack caught up to him, forcing him to bend down and kick the ground hard.

    “Roar!”

A massive pit opened beneath him, splitting apart like a turtle shell. A gigantic Sonic Boom echoed through the area, creating a conical cloud of Sonic Boom energy while he rocketed toward Cu Chulainn at supersonic speeds.

    “Gáe Bolg!”

Even from a distance of over a kilometer, everyone present could clearly hear Lancer’s release of his Noble Phantasm.

A massive wave of Mana was absorbed, creating a brilliant red meteor that tore through the sky. The blood-red light illuminated half the sky.

However, something else caught their attention: a gigantic Blue Phantasm blooming like a lotus flower. Pure white flames burned within it, transforming into a massive White Tiger several dozen meters long.

The White Tiger roared as it charged toward the red meteor, colliding with a terrifying explosion that produced a shockwave comparable to a comet striking Earth!

A massive white Light Sphere consumed the red sky, expanding like a balloon and crashing into the ground. Amidst the gigantic earthquake-like tremor, a shockwave swept through everything, obliterating countless swords in the wasteland and collapsing an Inherent Barrier of Magecraft level strength.

Prideful King of Heroes furiously unleashes Noble Phantasm·Vault of Heaven, projecting dozens of Noble Phantasm, wildly ramming and detonating, shattering the oncoming shockwave into scattered streams of fierce winds.

    Whoosh!

A sharp slash through Air resonates, a Figure like a Meteor crashes to the ground nearby.

Amid the silence, Kuzuki’s Figure emerges from the smoke.

    Dang!

Throwing half of a red magical gun carelessly onto the ground, letting it dissipate into spectral light, Kuzuki turns his Line of Sight to King of Heroes.

    “To you.”
