    Chapter 172 War Berserker

“Well, the Barrier technique isn’t bad, but that’s about it.” Medea (Caster) exclaimed, beginning to break down the Einzbern’s massive Barrier that shrouded half the forest.

Behind her were Kuzuki and Medusa (Rider).

Out of Magus pride, Medea (Caster) stopped the eager Kuzuki from charging in headfirst and personally took action to break it.

Since it wasn’t a naturally born Barrier like the one at Ryūdō Temple, the Einzbern family’s Barrier could only serve as a warning and delay the enemy’s actions, it wasn’t particularly strong.

Not even needing an Incantation, a formless Mana wave suddenly spread from Medea (Caster).

At the same time, the crystal ball inside the castle used to observe the entire Barrier’s interior suddenly shattered into several pieces.

After a moment, Medea (Caster) smiled slightly: “I’ve neutralized the Barrier’s Perception Magecraft, we can enter now.”

“Then let’s begin.” Kuzuki said calmly.

Medea (Caster) raised Hekate’s Sceptre and released most of the Mana she had gathered.

A Black Mist materialized out of thin air, enveloping the surroundings.

Countless shadowy figures began to appear in the fog.

Medusa (Rider) jumped onto the treetops, after a few jumps, she disappeared into the Dense Forest.

Shortly after, a bright red Barrier rose from the ground, converging in the center of the sky to form a giant, bowl-shaped barrier, encasing the Einzbern castle in its center.

Everyone inside the castle changed color.

Tohsaka Rin frowned, suppressing a feeling of nausea, and said sternly: “They’re here. It’s a Barrier, though its level is only mediocre. But being in this environment for combat is very disadvantageous for us.”

“We’re surrounded.” Sella stood by the window, seeing a layer of mist rise around the castle’s surroundings. Countless black shadows lurked within the mist, approaching the castle.

“Follow the plan, Saber, let’s go.” Tohsaka Rin said calmly.

“Then, I leave it to you, Rin.”

After Tohsaka Rin and Saber left, Ilyasviel, like a mature adult, calmly ordered: “Sella, Liz, just protect yourselves, and leave the rest to Berserker…”

“No way! Protecting milady is our duty, how can we let milady take the front line while we hide in a safe place?” Maid Sella retorted vehemently.

Lilith, standing beside her, remained silent but undoubtedly shared the same sentiment.

“It’s no use! This is the lord’s command, just follow orders,” Ilyasviel said, having witnessed their strength; even if Liz and Sella worked together, they could only delay the inevitable, and it would be a futile effort to send them to their deaths.

However, for the maids, protecting Ilyasviel took precedence over following orders, so Sella and Lilith each picked up their weapons, fundamentally refusing to obey Ilyasviel’s command.

A piercing shriek suddenly came from a distance, and a black figure shot towards them like a cannonball, incredibly, it was a massive tree, uprooted and hurled with immense force, like a catapult!

    “Be careful.”

Sella warned, and together with Lilith, they instinctively shielded Ilyasviel without hesitation.

Yet, one figure moved faster than they did; Berserker’s enormous and muscular body, despite its size, possessed astonishing agility, and the moment the shriek was heard, he sprang into action.

The gigantic figure abruptly positioned itself in front of the trio, swinging its stone knife with lightning speed, striking the incoming tree.

    Crack!

The tree was instantly shattered, split in 2 by a single slash, and the momentum of the severed trunks sent them crashing into the room on either side.

    “Roar!”

The muscular Berserker let out a thunderous roar, producing a massive sonic wave that instantly cleared the dust.

Through the gap in the broken wall, Kuzuki’s figure could be seen approaching at a steady pace.

Silver-haired loli Ilyasviel peeked out from behind her 2 maids, anger spreading: “Kill him, Berserker.”

    “Roar!”

The warrior, having lost the ability to speak, let out a meaningless roar, and his massive body lurched forward, shooting out of the castle like a cannonball.

Covering dozens of meters in an instant, the enormous and heavy body crashed to the ground, and Berserker charged forward, each step sending large clumps of dirt flying backward; in the blink of an eye, he had closed in on Kuzuki.

A stone blade the size of a human being slashed towards Kuzuki’s midsection, and the fierce wind alone could strip a layer of flesh from a person; if it struck a human body, the hit area would likely burst like a fountain or jelly!

Yet Kuzuki’s reaction was such that even a strike approaching the speed of sound seemed like a snail’s pace to him!

Without even bothering to dodge, Kuzuki raised his right arm to directly block the stone blade of the Berserker.

    Clang!

The impact of the physical body against the stone blade produced a resonant metallic sound, as if 2 trains had collided!

From the force of the strike, the ground where they stood abruptly exploded, with a several-meter radius of earth caving in, as palm-wide cracks rapidly spread, forming a dividing line between the two.

Kuzuki’s ability to withstand the Berserker’s stone blade with his physical body was not because his body was comparable to a Vajra, but because he had a protective aura that formed a nearly tangible Qi Wall on his arm, blocking the blade.

    “Roar!”

The Berserker’s arm muscles bulged as he exerted force once more, swinging down with raw violence and sending Kuzuki flying like a baseball bat.

It wasn’t that Kuzuki’s strength was inferior, but his weight was too light compared to the Berserker, which put him at a slight disadvantage in their strength contest, causing him to be sent flying.

He was flung backwards, toppling and snapping several trees, eventually buried under a pile of chaotic wood and foliage.

After sending Kuzuki flying with a slash, the Berserker stomped down, creating a huge crater, his figure flying out like a cannonball and crashing into the trees and rubble, exploding wood and branches everywhere.

The giant, holding the stone blade, spun around for a horizontal sweep, causing a series of noises as the fallen tree trunks and leaves were cleared away like a lawnmower.

    Clang!

Once more, a metallic sound exploded, and the Berserker didn’t need to turn around to know he had hit Kuzuki, nor did he need to observe; relying solely on his sense of touch, he wildly hacked and chopped with the stone blade!

Amidst a continuous line of dense explosions, countless sparks burst forth, as Kuzuki directly met the blade with full force, creating numerous chips in the stone blade.

    “Not bad.”

Amidst the intensely fierce battle, Kuzuki still had the leisure to speak.

The reason Berserker is so difficult to deal with isn’t just his overwhelming strength, although he is undoubtedly one of the strongest.

It’s his Noble Phantasm, God Hand (Twelve Labors), 12 lives!

Kuzuki has never backed down from a Fierce Battle!

    Roar!

The Giant let out a roar, his muscles bulging like an Explosion, his arms swelling as he gripped the stone axe handle and swung wildly, a frenzy of blows aimed at Kuzuki!

Countless blades converged, forming a dense, rolling wave of steel that crashed down upon Kuzuki!

    Kuzuki remained unmoved.

His 2 arms flashed, blurring into a hazy, fan-shaped Afterimage, and in an Instant, he unleashed hundreds of punches, colliding with Berserker’s axe!

    Boom!

Like an Air blast Explosion, a powerful blast of wind erupted from the heart of the Combat, sweeping outwards in all directions.

Trees, earth, stones, everything in its path, was caught in this ferocious wind, as if a Qi wall had been pushed through, everything was blown away!

Kuzuki’s punches grew increasingly rapid, the number of blows multiplying.

In the next instant, Berserker’s axe swings couldn’t keep up, exposing an opening.

Kuzuki seized the moment, launching a lightning-fast punch that pierced through the Afterimages and chaotic Air currents, landing squarely on Berserker’s chest.

A shockwave of Air Flow rippled outwards as Berserker was sent flying backward, his chest caving in like a deflated basketball.

His ribs Pierced through his back, his body crashing into the Dense Forest like a cannonball, causing a series of tremors!
