Chapter 179 Torrent of Light × Finale

Kuzuki walked to the door of the room, gave it a gentle push, and the entire door crashed to the ground with a loud bang, kicking up a cloud of dust.

    Haa…

The sound of a heavy weapon cutting through the air, a black Shadow with a fierce aura burst through the smoke and dust, stopping in front of Kuzuki.

Lilith unleashed her full Giant Strength, grabbing the massive halberd and thrusting it with all her might, but the halberd didn’t budge, as if it had taken root in Kuzuki’s hand.

His hand, gripping the halberd, suddenly surged with power, and with a creaking, teeth-grinding sound, the high-carbon steel halberd was bent and twisted, its blade warped.

“Stop, Liz, you’re no match for him,” Ilyasviel said, her eyes red from crying.

Lilith didn’t heed Ilyasviel’s command, abandoning her attempt to retrieve the halberd, and instead took 2 steps back, positioning herself in front of Ilyasviel, her eyes fixed intently on Kuzuki.

“Protect… Ilyasviel… my… mission,” Lilith said, her words labored, her language function impaired, unable to form complete sentences.

Just as Kuzuki was about to make his move, intending to knock the maid unconscious, he suddenly sensed an intense, extreme surge of Mana (Heaven and Earth Mana) within his Spiritual Awareness.

Even Ilyasviel and the two maids sensed something was amiss, looking out the window.

“That is…” The silver-haired loli stared, dumbfounded, at the massive pillar of light rising to the sky a kilometer away, her voice trembling with shock.

A torrent of Mana, like a tsunami, converged from all directions, forming a brilliant pillar of light that pierced the night sky, dispelling the darkness.

The Great Source Mana was being wildly drawn in, concentrated, and materialized into a dense, sea-like substance that rose from the environment and gathered at the center.

Amidst this breathtaking spectacle, a winged horse, shrouded in white light, suddenly emerged from the ground, soared into the air, and then, upon reaching its peak, dove downwards, transforming into a meteor streaking towards the earth!

    “Ex… calibur…!”

The light was in a frenzy.

    The light was roaring.

The holy, pure Mana Light accelerated, roaring as it shot into the sky, and then, in a flash of dazzling beauty, clashed with the winged horse, now a meteor, in a catastrophic collision!

Amidst the tremors that shook the heavens, the torrent of light devoured everything in its path.

Finally, even the legendary Phantasmal Species disappeared within this endless radiance.

“Saber…” Ilyasviel whispered, her heart trembling.

    Bang bang.

Two sounds of human bodies hitting the ground jolted Ilyasviel awake.

She turned around and saw Sella and Lilith lying on the ground, their lives uncertain.

“Sella! Liz!” Ilyasviel frantically rushed to Sella’s body, shaking her, but there was no reaction.

    “Berserker, kill him for me…”

Halfway through her sentence, she remembered Berserker was already dead.

Ilyasviel gritted her teeth and stood up, glaring menacingly at Kuzuki.

The next moment, she also fainted.

Holding Ilyasviel’s small body in his arms, Kuzuki punched out, creating a large hole in the wall.

Carrying Ilyasviel out of the hole, Kuzuki ran towards Saber’s location.

Meanwhile, Saber unleashed her Noble Phantasm, using the Oath of Victory sword to slay Rider, but the excessive Mana consumption left her weak and powerless, kneeling half-heartedly on the ground.

Even her armor couldn’t be maintained, revealing the dress underneath.

Tohsaka Rin wasn’t doing much better either.

Saber’s Mana depletion affected her as the Master.

“There’s been no movement from the north for a while, Berserker has probably been killed by Kuzuki. Saber, pull yourself together, let’s leave here quickly.” Tohsaka Rin looked worriedly towards the northern forest and turned to Saber.

Saber gripped her sword with both hands, stood up, and her expression became grave: “It’s too late, Rin, he’s here.”

As soon as she finished speaking, a figure emerged from the dark forest.

    It was Kuzuki, carrying Ilyasviel.

He glanced around, pausing briefly on Medea (Caster).

    “I underestimated you, Tohsaka.”

Tohsaka Rin didn’t dare relax, her right hand fingertip hovering near Medea (Caster)’s heart.

“Kuzuki, let’s make a deal. You withdraw, and I’ll return Caster to you unharmed.”

    “What’s the point?”

“What?” Tohsaka Rin was taken aback and didn’t understand what Kuzuki meant.

“In the Holy Grail War, there can only be one victor. Even if I leave now, can I avoid battle afterwards?”

Tohsaka Rin fell silent for a moment, then added, “What I mean is, you cannot attack us during this Holy Grail War.”

Perhaps Tohsaka Rin herself felt that this condition was too outrageous, she paused, then continued, “I know this is asking too much, but as long as you promise not to attack us within 7 days, I will return the life of the Caster.”

Kuzuki looked at Saber, instantly startling her, and she reflexively raised her invisible sword in front of her.

Shifting back into the Line of Sight.

    “You still don’t understand, Tohsaka…”

“There is only one Holy Grail…”

“It can only fulfill the wish of one individual…”

“Why must the last Command Spell be preserved until the end? Because it ensures the suicide of one’s own Servant, guaranteeing that the Holy Grail falls into one’s hands…”

Tohsaka Rin was stunned, she looked at Saber, but Saber did not show any signs of surprise, only gazing at her with a complex expression.

    “Saber knows too…”

Tohsaka Rin lowered her gaze, then lifted it, becoming resolute and sharp: “If you intend to sow discord among us, you might be disappointed.”

Kuzuki shook his head slowly and said, “What I mean is, I can obtain the Holy Grail myself.”

His gentle words fell into Tohsaka Rin’s ears, stirring up a storm in her heart.

‘That’s right, with Kuzuki’s strength, obtaining the Holy Grail isn’t difficult at all; he doesn’t necessarily need a Servant’s assistance…’

With such words, her actions no longer held any threat.

After all, the premise was that ‘Kuzuki needed Medea (Caster) to help him obtain the Holy Grail’ for her strategy to be effective.

Now, that premise no longer existed; what significance was there in using Medea (Caster) to endanger Kuzuki?

“Rin! Don’t believe his words. If it were truly like that, why would he say so much? Why would he come all this way?” Saber reminded Tohsaka Rin.

“Indeed, if it is as you say, why not take action? As long as you kill me and Saber, the Holy Grail would be yours, wouldn’t it?”

Kuzuki did not answer Tohsaka Rin’s question, but instead posed another question.

“This talk of the Holy Grail, do you even know what it is? What do you say, Saber?”

Saber could tell that Kuzuki had no Intent to Kill and wasn’t planning to Battle.

Despite her doubts about Kuzuki’s purpose, even at full strength she was no match for him.

Now, with her Mana severely depleted, she was even less of an opponent, so Saber slightly lowered her guard.

Her emerald eyes, pure as gemstones, turned to the silver-haired young girl in Kuzuki’s arms, as if seeing a familiar figure.

“The Holy Grail should be Ilyasviel…”

“What…” Tohsaka Rin covered her mouth, eyes wide as she stared at the Silver-haired Loli. “That would mean…”

When the Holy Grail is activated, it will be the moment of Ilyasviel’s death.

“Is this the truth of the Holy Grail War?”

“No… If you want to know the truth, follow me.”

Kuzuki suddenly raised his arm, stating, “Also, your threats are meaningless.”

A red light flashed on his wrist, and Medea (Caster)’s figure instantly moved from beside Tohsaka Rin to Kuzuki’s side.

Then, with a delayed reaction, Tohsaka Rin fired a Mana bullet with her finger, striking the ground.
