    Chapter 202: Hardcore Greeting

The Mage’s Association can be roughly divided into 3 departments: Clock Tower, Atlas Institute, and Wandering Sea.

Among them, as the hub of Modern Magecraft, when referring to the Mage’s Association, it generally means the Clock Tower, where magi from all over the world gather to diligently research magecraft day and night, while also trying to pull down other factions and compete for power and funding, thus boosting their motivation.

The organization’s structure is complex and strange, and it’s not possible to say they’re united, but their magecraft research is indeed the most cutting-edge in the world.

As the highest institution of magecraft, the Clock Tower is home to many hidden dragons and tigers, with countless old monsters lurking within, and even someone like Kuzuki wouldn’t dare to act rashly.

Moreover, Kuzuki came to negotiate, not to fight, and if he were to destroy the other party’s headquarters right off the bat, it would be a never-ending battle.

A massive roar like the tolling of a funeral bell resonated throughout the London sky, as an unprecedented storm swept over the Clock Tower, with invisible fluctuations rising to the sky, shredding the white clouds and stretching them into lines that disappeared into the distance.

Withdrawing his fist, which had been swung upwards at an angle, Kuzuki gazed at the transparent barrier surrounding the Clock Tower, which rippled like water, and nodded in satisfaction.

“So, it should be enough to get the attention of someone with sufficient weight, right?”

The entire city of London was shocked by the loud noise and the strange phenomenon in the sky, and the Mage’s Association was also thrown into chaos, with many people thinking that the Holy Church had torn up the peace treaty and launched an attack.

After all, in their minds, the Mage’s Association, as one of the strongest organizations in the world, would only pick a fight with others, and no one would dare to cause trouble for them.

Even the Twenty-7 Dead Apostle Ancestors, the pinnacle of the Dead Apostles, would have to avoid the Mage’s Association’s blade.

The Mage’s Association is vast, with Clock Tower’s headquarters comprising both the landmark Clock Tower building and the entire British Museum.

It’s one of the 12 departments of the Mage’s Association, with the other 11 located in the suburbs of London.

Beneath the surface lies a sprawling underground complex with numerous structures.

Kuzuki subtly reduced his physical presence and proceeded towards the interior of the British Museum.

An Invisible Wave suddenly emanated from Kuzuki, unrestrainedly releasing his Energy Momentum.

He pushed his Energy Momentum to its limits, causing the air to tremble and hearts to pound.

If an individual’s life fluctuations were likened to a flickering candle flame, a powerful Mage’s energy would be like a streetlamp, then Kuzuki at this moment was like a sun radiating its light and heat in the darkness, enveloping the entire sky and exceeding the limits of perception.

Like being abruptly pulled from a 0-gravity environment onto a white dwarf star, both sentient and non-sentient beings could feel the immense pressure generated by the vast difference in their Life Levels.

Just as a hurricane sweeps through a room full of lit candles, extinguishing countless flames, countless Life flames were scattered by the sheer force of Kuzuki’s unleashed Energy Momentum.

This resulted in an effect akin to Haki, a powerful aura emanating from a powerful individual.

With Kuzuki at the center, all Ordinary People within a radius of one kilometer lost consciousness, collapsing to the ground due to the overwhelming pressure.

The area became chaotic, with vehicles careening out of control and people sustaining injuries.

In unseen places, creatures far weaker than humans ── birds, insects, fish, and small mammals ── perished en masse.

Their cause of death was uniformly the same: cardiac arrest.

They had been terrified to death.

Observing the numerous Ordinary People falling like dominoes, Kuzuki had underestimated the situation.

He had assumed that displaying his Energy Momentum would only induce a sense of oppression, but due to his mastery of Comprehension Martial Arts Will, his Energy Momentum now carried a degree of offensiveness targeting spirits and the soul, capable of inflicting harm on other Life forms.

This damage is minimal, but due to the vast difference in Life levels between Kuzuki and other Life forms, even this slight injury can render an Ordinary Person unconscious and lead to the death of insects, fish, birds, and beasts.

In fact, it’s not just Ordinary Persons; even a small fraction of the Magus from the Mage’s Association were stunned by Kuzuki’s Energy Momentum during the confrontation.

Teachers and students were thrown into chaos, unable to locate the source of the Attack, and even the 12 Lords of the Clock Tower were shaken, with most of them stepping out of their Magecraft Workshops to investigate who was provoking the Mage’s Association.

Kuzuki faced no obstruction as he walked into the British Museum.

Every individual in his path fell into an indescribable, overwhelming terror.

Whenever someone produced even a hint of Attack or harbored hostile thoughts against Kuzuki, that individual would automatically be subjected to a stronger oppression from the Energy Momentum, as if gazing into the abyss while the abyss gazes back at you.

When Kuzuki unleashed his Energy Momentum without restraint, anyone who produced hostility towards him would instinctively be judged as an Enemy, thus generating the consciousness to Produce an Attack.

The Energy Momentum, radiating evenly like sunlight, would then shift and converge towards the Enemy.

No one could stand against such targeting; merely suppressing the fear that howled from within required all their Energy, let alone having the time to obstruct Kuzuki!

However, the Mage’s Association is not without its Martial Arts Experts.

The head of the Clock Tower, an aide to the Archmage, one of the 12 Lords of the Association, and a member of one of the 3 noble families of Magecraft… the current head of [Barthomelo], hailed as the pinnacle of Modern Magus… Barthomelo Lorelei, stood silently and unnoticed, blocking Kuzuki’s path forward.

Lorelei’s strength is unquestionable; without mentioning her background, her past achievements alone are enough to command respect.

She single-handedly confronted and defeated 2 of the Twenty-7 Dead Apostle Ancestors, a feat that earned her the admiration of the Mage’s Association.

As she appeared, the atmosphere was instantly electrified, and the crowd’s Line of Sight, filled with admiration, fear, respect, and worship, was fixed on her, rendering the surroundings silent.

“May I take this as a challenge to the Mage’s Association? You, who have so brazenly intruded upon the Clock Tower, do you think the Mage’s Association is powerless?”

Behind the young girl, one by one, the normally unreachable big shots appeared: the Twelve Lords, the Leading Teachers, and the powerful Magus who Possessed the “Colors”.

The Magus who witnessed this scene held their breath, their faces flushed as they gazed at the crowd before them, unable to utter a word.

In a distant corner, a beautiful woman with orange hair pushed up her glasses, revealing an expression of amusement: “Kuzuki-san, it seems you’ve stirred up a hornet’s nest. How will you resolve this?”

Kuzuki’s gaze shifted, fixing his Line of Sight on Lorelei.

“I just came to pay my respects; unexpectedly, you’re all so weak. Only you seem somewhat interesting.”
