    Chapter 204 JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

After leaving the Mage’s Association, Kuzuki didn’t return to Fuyuki City, instead staying in London.

As for the various anomalies he caused in London, to the Mage’s Association, which held sway in Britain, it was nothing more than a trivial matter.

The World of Mysteries is like that; secular governments and systems are simply there to better serve ‘mystery’.

In reality, the Mage’s Association didn’t have much intelligence about Variables.

They only observed an increase in Spirits to varying degrees within The World’s scope.

They didn’t understand the cause, origin, or process.

In fact, if Kuzuki hadn’t suddenly stormed the Mage’s Association today, they wouldn’t have cared about it at all.

Reaching Root is the Magus’s pursuit; nothing else matters.

However, Kuzuki’s flamboyant actions and the importance he placed on this phenomenon were enough to attract the Mage’s Association’s attention.

Once the Mage’s Association paid attention to this, they would naturally take action to resolve it… A stable environment that supports Magecraft research is necessary.

If unnatural factors cause global upheaval, the Mage’s Association, adhering to the principle of concealing ‘mystery’, would eradicate the upheaval.

After leaving the Clock Tower, Kuzuki found Aozaki Touko… She had recently escaped from being a ‘Sealing Designation’ target and was currently active within the Mage’s Association as a Grand Puppeteer.

Compared to the last time they met, Aozaki Touko’s hair had grown considerably longer, tied into a long ponytail that draped over her shoulder.

Aozaki Touko wasn’t surprised that Kuzuki could find her, but rather surprised that he could leave the Clock Tower unharmed.

“Kuzuki-kun is truly unfathomable. Even those old codgers at the Clock Tower couldn’t stop you?” Aozaki Touko invited Kuzuki inside with a smile.

The interior was as cluttered as the Hall of Temple, Aozaki Touko’s workshop, with dense bookshelves occupying half the room.

After entering, Kuzuki casually found a seat and said to Gate of Opening, Kaimon: “I’d like to request Touko’s help in creating a custom-made doll.”

Aozaki Touko poured Kuzuki a cup of hot tea, sat back in her usual spot, and reminisced: “Kuzuki-kun is still the same as ever, not even bothering to catch up after all this time?”

“Let’s save the small talk for later, I want to know your answer.”

“Well, since we’re old acquaintances, I suppose I shouldn’t refuse.” Aozaki Touko smiled, showing a hint of mischief: “The price will be $10 million, and I can customize the doll’s appearance, physique, and other requirements to your liking.”

Considering the doll was made by the Grand Puppeteer, the price wasn’t excessive.

Kuzuki nodded: “That’s fine, but I’ll need some time to pay you.”

Aozaki Touko trusted Kuzuki to a certain extent, knowing that someone with his personality would never go back on their word.

“If I may ask, what do you plan to use the doll for? As far as I know, you don’t have the necessary knowledge or techniques in this field, do you?”

“It might come in handy in the future.”

“Hmm, you’re being quite mysterious, Kuzuki-kun.” Aozaki Touko removed her glasses, her expression shifting from warmth to a cold, serious tone: “And more importantly, it sounds like you’re taking a risk. Are you also searching for the Root?”

“Why would you ask that?” Kuzuki countered.

Aozaki Touko pointed at Kuzuki: “The aura you’re giving off right now is similar to that of a Magus striving to reach the Root, as if you’re being watched by ‘it’.”

Kuzuki wasn’t surprised by Aozaki Touko’s observation.

He fell silent for a moment before saying: “What I’m trying to do isn’t exactly about reaching the Root, but it’s similar.”

Aozaki Touko seemed to understand, lit a cigarette, and said: “That’s a difficult path to take; so far, I haven’t seen anyone succeed.”

“Just because no one has succeeded doesn’t mean it’s impossible,” Kuzuki replied, then asked: “I recall you were evading the Mage’s Association’s Sealing Designation and hiding. Why can you now appear openly at the Clock Tower?”

Aozaki Touko exhaled a puff of smoke, chuckled, and said, “The Sealing Designation Bureau, responsible for the secret rituals, has undergone a change, canceling the Sealing Designation of several individuals, and I happened to be one of them. Coincidentally, I also received an invitation to a dinner party from the Izayoi family, so I decided to come and take a look.”

Afterwards, the two individuals chatted like old friends, talking for a long time, their conversation flowing like the gentle streams of the Nasuverse.

As Kuzuki left Aozaki Touko’s residence, he walked on the streets, perceiving multiple covert lines of sight monitoring him, a testament to the ever-watchful eyes of the Clock Tower.

Kuzuki’s sudden appearance was like throwing a large stone into a calm pond, its aftershocks would take a long time to dissipate; the Clock Tower must be keeping a close eye on him while thoroughly investigating his past, much like the intricate web of fate spun by the threads of destiny.

However, Kuzuki didn’t care, his expression as calm as a still sea, untroubled by the whispers of the wind.

He returned to his temporary residence in London, locked himself in his room, and fell asleep on his bed, his dreams no doubt filled with the visions of the Assassin’s world.

After entering the Assassin’s Book Space, Kuzuki held the Assassin’s Book in his hand, the weight of his decision settling upon him like the crushing gravity of a Type-Moon’s Reality Marble.

It was time to make a decision, to choose his path, to forge his own destiny, much like the heroes of old who dared to challenge the will of the heavens.

Kuzuki opened the Assassin’s Book, his gaze sweeping across the numerous worlds listed, and without hesitation, he chose the Dark Flower (Secret Mission) option, his will as unshakeable as the resolve of a DanMachi adventurer.

The world he was to cross into was already decided, all that remained was to confirm his choice, to set his course, and embark on his journey, like a ship sailing into the vast expanse of the unknown.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Variable-18%, a world of wonder, a world of danger, a world where the brave and the bold dared to tread.

Kuzuki chose Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure not only because it had the lowest Variable degree among the many worlds, but also because this world possessed a unique strength, a special ability system known as “Stand”, which allowed those who awakened to it to perform extraordinary feats, such as time manipulation, space movement, and creation, abilities that rivaled the powers of the gods.

The world was chosen, the path was set, the journey was about to begin, like the turning of a page in the grand tale of fate.

[Dark Flower (Secret Mission)], a mission shrouded in mystery, a mission that would test Kuzuki’s resolve, his courage, and his wits.

Target: Variable Source, the origin of the Variable, the source of the power that flowed through the worlds like the lifeblood of the universe.

???, the unknown, the unspoken, the secrets that lay hidden, waiting to be uncovered.

Requires: Clearing the Variable Source, a task of monumental proportions, a challenge that would push Kuzuki to his limits, and beyond.

Reward: ???, the prize, the treasure, the reward that awaited those brave enough to take on the challenge, to seize the day, and claim their rightful place among the heroes of the Nasuverse.

Time limit: None, the journey was endless, the path was long, but the will to persevere, to overcome, and to triumph would be the guiding force that drove Kuzuki forward.

Failure penalty: ???, the cost of defeat, the price of failure, a consequence that would be as severe as the wrath of the gods, a reminder that in the world of the Assassin’s, only the strongest survived.

············, the journey begins, the adventure starts, the tale of Kuzuki’s bravery, cunning, and strength is about to unfold, like the pages of a book, waiting to be written.

    In 1987, Cairo, Egypt.

When Kuzuki came to his senses, he found himself in a remote and dark alley, a chaotic place piled with sewage and debris.

Kuzuki frowned and stepped out of the alley, avoiding the filth.

An exotic scene unfolded before him; the city bathed in golden light under the sunset, with pedestrians flowing like a river through the streets.

    Beep… Beep…

An antique car from the two0th century honked as it passed by, kicking up dust.

Kuzuki observed the distinctly different architectural styles of his surroundings, and after some thought, decided to secure some money first.

By the way… to investigate the intelligence of the surroundings.

‘If it were me, what kind of Stand would I obtain? I’m a bit excited…’

As Kuzuki wandered aimlessly, he gazed at the street.

‘This architectural style, clothing, and writing──could it be the Middle East? Did I get transported near the Middle East, meaning the Variable Source is in this area?’

‘If it’s the Middle East, it only reminds me of one individual…’

Dio Brando, one of the greatest villains in the (JOJO’s Bizarre Adventure) series, spanning from Part 1 to Part 6.

Although his role is only in the first 3 parts, his influence extends to Part 6, making him one of the core characters of the entire series.

Dio Brando is cruel and ruthless, yet possesses a unique charisma that makes even the most notorious villains worldwide bow to him, known as the “Savior of Villains.”

    Could it be him…
