    Chapter 206 “The Arrow’s Fate”

(Jojo’s popularity is high, but it seems like detailed writing would flop… Please give me some confidence.)

I can’t help but wonder…Light and the meteorite, they must be Variable Source, right?

But now isn’t the time to ponder that.

    Kuzuki wants to obtain something…

    “The Arrow.”

In Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, there are several bizarre Tools, like the “Stone Mask,” “Aja Red Stone,” and “The Arrow.”Wearing the Stone Mask turns you into a vampire, the Aja Red Stone focuses Light like a laser beam, and anyone struck or pierced by The Arrow gains a Stand!

(A Stand is a special type of Superpower from Jojo’s The World, produced by the Life energy within the Human Body, possessing immense strength.

Those who possess Stand Ability are called Stand Users).

There are only 6 Arrows, and their history is almost as old as Human History.

Even before civilizations formed, The Arrow existed.

If someone pierced by The Arrow possesses “a certain aptitude,” they will gain a Stand.

Otherwise, if they lack the aptitude, they will die.

This is what Kuzuki knows about how to obtain a Stand.

To gain a Stand, Kuzuki must find a way to be struck by “The Arrow” and survive, becoming a Stand User.

Jade Ruyi still stores enough Revival energy for 2 uses, combined with his Northern Return Qi, even if he’s reduced to dust, he can be reborn through his Primordial Spirit.

So Kuzuki isn’t worried about dying due to lacking aptitude after being struck by The Arrow.

After settling in Cairo, Kuzuki began looking for The Arrow’s whereabouts.

For gathering Intelligence, the strength of a single individual is clearly insufficient.

Even though Kuzuki is powerful, he needs to rely on the strength of others.

Therefore, some special tactics are necessary.

Using the mind-control tactics akin to those in Hokuto Shinken (Fist of the North Star), Kuzuki became the top authority in the Arab Republic of Egypt in just 3 days.

One third of the parliament was under his control, and even the President of Egypt had been subjected to his Secret Acupuncture Points, transformed into a fervent follower.

The operation could be completed in just 3 simple steps: infiltrate the residence of the Mayor of Cairo, take control, then move on to the superior of the Mayor of Cairo, and repeat the process until the President was within reach.

Inside the luxurious villa of the Mayor of Cairo, with its splendidly decorated, immense study, Kuzuki sat in the master seat, sifting through a mountain of documents, while on either side of him, documents were carelessly stacked on the ground.

In just 24 hours, every piece of intelligence related to “arrows” that had ever appeared in Egypt, from the earliest recorded history to the present, was laid out before Kuzuki.

The strength of the system was terrifying, especially in matters requiring time and manpower.

Kuzuki skimmed through various intelligences, reviewing nearly a decade’s worth of records, documents, and reports about arrows.

Sifting through the extraneous information, one intelligence caught Kuzuki’s attention.

In 1986, an Egyptian archaeological team suffered heavy casualties for an unknown reason during an excavation, leading to the suspension of the dig.

According to the survivors, 6 “arrows” were unearthed from the ruins, and an individual had died after being accidentally cut by one, with the rest perishing under mysterious circumstances.

The team was greatly demoralized and halted the excavation.

Kuzuki marked this document and set it aside, continuing to peruse the other intelligences.

Then, another document caught his eye.

Over 60 years ago, Cairo was subjected to an unexplained attack; rivers turned to blood, livestock died, and the sun vanished.

It was said to be the revival of a high priest who had been dead for a thousand years, cursing Cairo.

This document had no relation to the arrow, but Kuzuki was interested in it, so he marked it and set it aside, much like a Dungeon Explorer marking a promising map.

After watching for several hours, the Mayor of Cairo humbly knocked on the door of the study, like a vassal waiting for an audience with their lord.

“Kuzuki-sama, dinner time has arrived. Please proceed to the dining hall.”

“I’m aware,” Kuzuki said, closing the Records and handing the marked documents to the Mayor of Cairo. “I want to know everything about these two Records: their contents, the people involved, and any related intelligence on supernatural events. Gather it for me.”

The Mayor of Cairo bowed and respectfully replied, “I understand, I will carry out your orders immediately.”

Under the Mayor’s guidance, Kuzuki arrived at a grand hall on the first floor, spanning over a hundred square meters, and took his seat at the head of the long, rectangular table.

As a Cultivation practitioner of the Martial Way, Kuzuki’s appetite had increased significantly, requiring him to consume 7 or 8 times the amount of food an ordinary person would eat to feel full.

This was still relatively modest compared to other Martial Artists of the same Realm, who would need to eat 30 times the amount of food, and even then, the quality of the food had to be exceptionally high.

As Kuzuki dined, a phone call was made, and like a command from a Master, the entire city of Cairo began to move, searching for a specific piece of intelligence, much like the Guild searching for a rare drop in an expedition.

This unusual scene caught the attention of an Organization hiding in the shadows, a group that operated like the Assassins of the Nasuverse.

To this Organization, even the strength of a country was only moderately useful and posed no threat.

Thus, the unusual movement of the Cairo city government only caught the attention of the mid-level executives, and did not alarm the higher-ups, much like the difference between an adventurer and a True Hero.

At the very top of the underground forces in Egypt, at the pinnacle of the food chain, the leader of the Organization, Vanilla Ice, felt a spark of curiosity about the city government’s actions, like a Tsukumogami sensing a potential threat.

The opponent was searching for “Arrows,” and “Arrows” were a crucial Tool for Dio Brando before his transformation!

“In 12 hours, I want to know who is investigating this…” Vanilla issued this command, which was then carried out, and began to stir up the entire Cairo underworld.

In this way, an invisible whirlpool formed under the influence of 2 different wills.

Countless people, acting under vague orders, began to probe, track, and search.

This surging undercurrent even impacted the surface situation, making even the streets and alleys feel strangely deserted.

People could always be seen rushing past, and bars, dance halls, and entertainment venues, places that usually only saw activity after Darkness fell, were even more affected.

Countless mob bosses, informants, and Small Delinquents were active, buying and selling information.

This is the alluring nature of power; with just a few words, countless people revolve around your will, as if The World itself changed because of you.

Of course…Kuzuki knew this was an illusion.

This was just a facade built upon order.

Once the strength of an individual could shatter that order, then all rights, money, and fame became meaningless.

In 12 hours, 2 different Documents were placed on the tables of 2 individuals.

At this moment, the two opposing individuals, the Organizations, officially became aware of each other’s existence.
