    Chapter 211 Light Ring

Kuzuki’s finger gently tapped Enya’s spine, instantly robbing her of control over her body, leaving only her neck and above able to move.

“What is the Ability of the Ring?”

Under the marvelous effect of Secret Acupuncture Points, it is impossible to ‘hide’ secrets; any known Intelligence will be revealed, unless one tightly shuts their mouth and says nothing.

However, JoJo’s The World has a characteristic, which is ‘explanation’; getting them to stop talking is harder than death.

Even underwater, they can still explain it to you!

“I merely guided Dio Brando onto the path of a Stand User; I don’t know much about the Ring, only that it can absorb others’ Fear or conjure Various things.”

    Absorb Fear?

    Yellow Light?

Kuzuki recalled another item from The World that he had known before.

Could it be the Light Ring…

This Ability, its appearance, is too similar…

He didn’t know much about the Light Ring; the only reason he knew was that he had seen the Green Lantern movies.

In the Green Lantern universe, the Emotional Spectrum represents the 7 emotional Energies shared by all Life in the universe, utilized by 7 different ideological groups.

The 7 colored lights represent their respective Energies: Red Lantern of Rage, Orange Lantern of Greed, Yellow Lantern of Fear, Green Lantern of Will, Blue Lantern of Hope, Indigo Lantern of Compassion, and Violet Lantern of Love.

These Energies are harnessed through different colored Rings; as long as the user possesses enough willpower and Energy, they can transform the Energy in the Ring into physical objects based on their imagination, manipulating objects in the real The World.

Dio Brando probably obtained the yellow Light Ring representing Fear, while the other green Light is likely the green Light Ring.

The Assassination Book’s requirement is to eliminate the Variable Source, which likely refers to these two Rings.

Kuzuki glanced at Enya, who was being held in his hand, and after a moment of thought, he casually snapped her neck.

The reason for killing her was simple… the surroundings were a graveyard, making it the perfect place to lay her to rest.

He dug a hole, covered her with dirt, and counted to 5.

After burying Enya’s corpse, Kuzuki tossed an arrow in front of the grave and turned to leave.

The dense fog created by [Justice] slowly dissipated, revealing the true appearance of the valley, where countless gravestones stood in the surroundings, desolate and worn out.

“The yellow lamp has been found, and now it’s time to search for the green lamp. And then, there’s the meteorite that fell from the sky – I suppose that’s a Variable too. Hmm… might as well eliminate them all at once.”

Kuzuki thought about his next target as he left the valley.

Not long after he departed, the ground on the outskirts of the valley suddenly trembled and cracked open, and a woman, Mitra, emerged from it.

She scanned her surroundings, feeling a mix of relief and astonishment: “The mist is gone, and the town is gone too! This isn’t a mirage, but a large-scale illusion!”

If this was all created by a Stand’s ability, then the opponent’s Stand must be incredibly powerful.

Mitra remained vigilant, observing her surroundings, and when she didn’t detect anyone else, she cautiously approached the center of the graveyard.

Eventually, she arrived at a gravestone.

“This… this is the arrow that made me a Stand User!” Mitra picked up the arrow from the gravestone, her eyes still filled with disbelief: “The arrow should have been in Enya’s hand, so why is it here? And where did the Stand User who created the mist go?”

She looked at the inconsistent soil colors on the grave and the surrounding ground, and a terrifying conclusion formed in her mind.

    “Stand: The High Priestess!”

A ripple-like afterimage emerged from behind Mitra and dove into the grave, causing the ground to erupt like a fountain, revealing the corpses within.

“It’s really Enya! She’s dead! And it happened in such a short time!” Mitra took 2 steps back, sweat forming on her forehead. “Why was Enya here? Was she killed by him? Could it be…”

She looked down at the peculiar arrow in her hand, which was emitting a faint glow, and suddenly, understanding dawned on her.

“That’s how it is, all to become a Stand User… There are no other corpses in the surroundings, which means he succeeded……”

    A gentle breeze passed by.

Mitra suddenly discovered that next to the shadow produced by her back to the sun, another dark shadow had appeared at some point!

The shadow stood silently behind her, had it not been for the change in light, she might not have even realized someone had approached her!

An inexplicable fear suddenly climbed up Mitra’s heart; she didn’t dare move, turning her head stiffly and mechanically, trying to catch a glimpse of the person behind her with the corner of her eye, when a voice suddenly echoed in her ear: “You know too much.”

A hand rested on her shoulder from behind, and Mitra was covered in goosebumps.

    “You… you’re still here……” Mitra’s voice trembled slightly.

Kuzuki spoke softly: “This arrow is a dangerous item, not friendly to ordinary people, can you promise me not to use it lightly?”

“Of course, I have no intention of increasing companions…”

“Good, can I ask you one more thing?”

Mitra blinked, squeezing the sweat from her eyes.

“If… it’s not difficult, I can help you.”

“It’s not difficult at all, can you keep watch for me?”

    “Keep… watch?”

Kuzuki removed his hand from Mitra’s shoulder, saying: “I’m waiting for a group of people, if they pass through this area, can you let me know?”

Mitra turned around, her hands instinctively crossed over her chest, placing the arrow between them: “You mean the Joestar group? The ones Dio Brando sent to assassinate?”

“Indeed, they should be arriving here soon, and I have some things to take care of, can you keep an eye out for them?”

Mitra breathed a sigh of relief: “No… no problem, I don’t have anything to do right now anyway.”

After she agreed, Kuzuki found a clean spot to sit down, saying: “I’m going to sleep for a while, if they come, just wake me up.”

With that, his head drooped slightly, and his breathing became long and steady.

[He… he’s actually sleeping! Is it because he didn’t rest yesterday? No… probably for another reason. Could it be that he’s familiarizing himself with his newly acquired Stand Ability? Hmm… one must sleep to familiarize with the Ability. It seems his Stand Ability has something to do with dreams, consciousness, that sort of thing.]

Behind Mitra, the Stand: The High Priestess emerged and quickly dissolved into the ground, disappearing from sight.

[The surroundings have been set up, and anyone who passes by will be detected by me, so it should be…alright, I suppose?]

[I’m a bit curious, what’s his Ability? He’s so confident, even when I’m right next to him, asleep, without fear of being ambushed…]

[Come to think of it, I only got his photo from Vanilla, and I still don’t know his name…]

Mitra’s mind was filled with wild fancies, her thoughts churning nonstop.

Meanwhile, in the unknown space, a black figure, equal in height to Kuzuki, stood behind him, moving in sync with his thoughts (it was a feeling similar to this).

It was as if his body had grown an extra limb, one that he could control freely – Kuzuki and his Stand shared a mysterious connection, where the Stand would move in response to his thoughts, much like an external avatar, as if he had gained an extra body.
