    Type-Moon Assassination Fist 42

    Edited by: Tiny Fan Fiction

Chapter 42 is not good, there’s a Bloodlust.

    Seo Shizune walks toward Kuzuki.

The weather in May starts to hint at the heat, though it’s not particularly cold this season.

As Seo approaches Kuzuki, a breeze hits her, making her shiver.

    She feels the chill too.

At two and ten in the afternoon, the sun shines on her from above. It doesn’t warm her up; it’s just as cool as a block of ice.

Moreover, there’s an air of chillness around her.

The source of this chill is Kuzuki. The closer Seo gets to him, the colder she feels—like approaching a massive block of ice that emits cold.

She doesn’t know why she’s classified as a dangerous person by Kuzuki. Nor does she realize this chillness is because of his Bloodlust.

···Feeling comes from the heart, expressed outwardly···

If he has intentions to kill, it’s natural for him to have Bloodlust.

Seo can clearly sense Kuzuki’s Bloodlust. She must be someone with a keen senses.

Twenty meters, fifteen meters… ten meters.

When Seo approaches within ten meters of Kuzuki, he suddenly moves. He takes off his glasses.

In Martial Arts, “Circle of Emptiness” means you can fully control the distance within your reach—attack, defend, or evade—all under your control as long as you’re within that range.

With Kuzuki’s current strength, within ten meters, he could kill anyone instantly.

If someone is deemed a “potential threat,” entering the Circle of Emptiness would increase their desire to attack.

Seeing Seo gives him an immediate reaction through his eyes.

Even though Kuzuki believes that eye strength isn’t a reliable indicator of one’s power, he still has some disappointment.

    His power level is 5.

    Just an average person.

[In a world with so much mystery, the appearance of one’s strength doesn’t mean much. Most enemies don’t rely solely on their physical form to fight.]

Though disappointed, his eyes still function.

Accurate knowledge of one’s opponent’s combat strength can somewhat alleviate tension in certain situations.

    Kuzuki put on glasses.

Within ten meters, even a first-rate Magus like Kuzuki has absolute confidence to end him before he activates his Magecraft during the opening of the air circle. So it’s unnecessary to be overly cautious; allowing him some proximity is acceptable.

    On the other side.

When Kuzuki took off his glasses, Seo Shizune felt a sudden chill down her spine.

Being watched by Kuzuki’s eyes caused her body to freeze and her mind to blackout as well.

Seeing so many people means seeing so many faces.

    Only this time…

This encounter is different from all others.

The eyes of ordinary people express their moods through subtle movements like smiles or expressions. However, this person’s gaze lacks any emotion; it seems to merely observe an object without any feelings. It looks at her as if she were a possession, and with its piercing gaze, it precisely reveals how she was killed in numerous previous encounters.

The duration of her gaze is brief until Kuzuki puts on glasses again, after which Seo Shizune feels like she’s actually alive again.

If she retreats at this point, it would be quite strange.

Seo Shizune deliberately suppresses the idea of running away and walks over to Kuzuki.

“Kuzuki-sensei, as a student from Tokyo University, why are you teaching physical education for elementary school students?” Seo Shizune’s tone is different from usual; her voice ends with a slight tremble.

[Was she trying to loosen my guard or was she assuming I hadn’t noticed me?]

Kuzuki calmly said, “My intention is to secure a job. As for the nature of that job, it doesn’t matter to me.”

She laughed quietly and chose not to comment on Kuzuki’s statement.

“But did Kuzuki-sensei teach us a fitness method? Isn’t there some preparation involved?”

    “It was just by chance.”

Seo Shizune remembered the first image she had seen, where Kuzuki was teaching Asagami Fujino something.

From what she saw, it’s clear that unless there is extensive preparation, such an action wouldn’t be possible. Therefore, Seo Shizune knew immediately that her assumption about Kuzuki must be incorrect.

(What relationship do you have with Asagami Fujino?)

Shizune was about to ask. But she quickly realized her mistake and stopped herself before proceeding further.

Kuzuki is not a suitable conversation partner; he would appear emotionless with a calm tone, making it difficult to engage in meaningful conversations.

Shizune discovered that probing too much yielded nothing. She feigned heat by simulating sweating on her forehead, though these were cold sweat in reality.

“Kuzuki-san, are you hot? Let me buy some water for you.”

    “I’m not hot at all.”

“Alright, let’s go over now. Goodnight, Mr. Kuzuki.”

Shizune disappeared from the corner of the Teaching Building.

After sliding down the wall, she felt exhausted and struggled to stand up.

Facing Kuzuki brought tension due to his emotionless demeanor. Despite this pressure, her body remained tense until relief came when she stood again, though it was exhausting.

“This is getting too much! I’ve learned my lesson,” she said, brushing off the situation with a determined expression.

    ··········

[No further questions were asked as she left.]

She recovered her bearings and looked away.

Kuzuki took out Aozaki Touko’s business card from his pocket, considering his next move to visit the temple later that evening.

[She mentioned her knowledge on “Magecraft” and speculated about Asagami Fujino’s situation if her theory was correct.]

    Time passed silently.

    The physical education class ended.

Since the last meeting, Seo Shizune avoided Kuzuki as much as possible, hiding behind crowds each time.

Kuzuki paid little attention to her change in behavior and moved on with his life.

If everything went smoothly, an answer might be forthcoming.

The Academy’s teachers were not as strictly controlled as the students; they had more freedom of movement.

After finishing class, Kuzuki left the Academy and walked back to the corner of the Hall of Temple (Aozaki Touko Workshop).

    Someone was standing outside.

Some uncertain ones are in a state of limbo or unsure.

After seeing Kuzuki, his eyes brightened slightly.

Kokutou Mikiya extended her hand warmly: “Hello, I’m Kokutou Mikiya. Do you know about the Temple Hall (Aozaki Touko Workshop) nearby?

Kuzuki Souichirou, if you want to go to the Temple Hall (Aozaki Touko Workshop), follow me.
