Chapter 49 Araya Souren

Fujino is placed on the bed.

As Fujino becomes unconscious, things around her begin to be controlled by an invisible force, with weaker objects breaking apart.

This phenomenon isn’t new; every time Fujino loses consciousness, this force tends to explode, distorting and destroying nearby objects.

The Temple of Aozaki Touko has three people present.

Besides Aozaki Touko and Kokutou Mikiya, another girl appears who Kuzuki recognizes from a hospital encounter.

She has short hair, wears an uncommon kimono, and holds her arms up against the wall.

When Kuzuki and Fujino enter, Kokutou Mikiya is engaged in a debate with Aozaki Touko, discussing topics like salary and borrowing money.

Hearing about Kuzuki, Aozaki Touko lights up, interrupting Kokutou Mikiya and greeting them playfully: “Hey, it’s Kuzuki! What can I do for you today?”

Kuzuki asks Fujino to wear a Mystic Eye Killer like her own.

It’s a combination of solid and plane elements, three circular barriers expanding from Araya Souren’s feet outward. Their names are: Bukyu, Serpent, Scorpion, Heaven Wearing, Top Sutra, King’s Manifestation. Hundred Steps Divine Fist’s invisible strength hits the barriers, causing only ripples but not shaking them.

Araya Souren looks miserable as he moves forward. The barrier expands around him.

Kuzuki doesn’t need to escape; he just needs to move when possible.

His legs are on the ground with immense force, like the strength of a dragon and elephant, capable of devastating blows despite the constraints.
