    Chapter 65 Dragon Pearl?

The body of the human-shaped Old One rose with a faint flame, which quickly dissipated.

Kuzuki stepped over its corpse and approached the mouth of the cave.

The height and grandeur of the cave left Kuzuki standing at the entrance like an ant in front of a door, feeling incredibly small.

The Other World had no sun, so the cave should be dark. However, deep within the cave, faint red light occasionally emerged and illuminated him, giving his body a blood-red hue.

Walking into the vast tunnel, Kuzuki moved deeper into the cave. Just a short distance ahead, he saw a bloodied Old One-like creature crawling out of the tunnel.

About the size of a bus, its body was green and covered in sharp clawed legs. It dripped blood from below as it walked, leaving a trail behind it.

Upon closer inspection, this Old One didn’t seem injured. The blood on its body appeared to be from prey.

Its two narrow, expressive eyes changed color and locked onto Kuzuki. Without hesitation, it moved its body, swinging its clawed legs at him wildly.

    “Zhu!”

A shallow pit appeared in the ground as Kuzuki quickly dodged past its body. The fragile connection between its head and torso exploded.

After killing this Old One, he continued moving at a relentless pace, like an arrow shot from a crossbow, flying toward the depths of the cave.

It took him only a minute to reach the interior of the mountain.

Before him lay a blood-colored lake, spanning over 100 meters in radius and forming a semicircle. In the center was a small island floating on the surface.

The island was covered with networks of narrow, spiderweb-like tunnels extending outward into the lake. These pipes seemed to have a life of their own, gently undulating as they transported blood-colored liquid toward the central egg-shaped object.

The egg, about four meters tall and elliptical in shape, contained an Old One-like creature inside. Through its thin, transparent shell, one could see it resembled a magnified centipede-like monster.

Around the egg were scattered other broken eggs, some of which looked newly hatched.

    [Here is ···]

The source of the Old Ones!

Anyone would naturally think that at first glance.

“That Old One we saw earlier probably just hatched here. If we destroy this area, will that complete our mission?” Kuzuki walked to the edge of the blood-colored lake and dipped his hand into it.

“It has no corrosive properties, and its color is very faint. Taking a small amount of liquid won’t show much color.” Holding the strange liquid in his hands, Kuzuki thought for a moment before deciding not to taste it. “There’s no need to investigate further. My goal is simple: destroy this place.”

Simple words, but difficult to achieve.

This place is too big. It’s like digging out a football field-sized hole in the middle of a mountain range. I want to destroy this place, but it’s too hard to do so while ensuring everyone’s safety.

Just escaping the tunnel takes about a minute. If the mountain collapses, he won’t be able to get out.

As Kuzuki thinks about how to destroy this place, a light suddenly appears under the lake.

This light is very strange. It first forms a bright point and then spreads into a ring, expanding outward, slowly covering the lake, reaching around the mountain walls, and finally converging at the top before becoming bright again.

    “Drip!”

A red orb falls into the water, spreading out in color.

Kuzuki looks up to see a large conical rock above him, glowing red and slightly shimmering.

Over 200 meters tall, the Hundred Steps Divine Fist’s maximum attack range is only 100 meters. Even at its extreme range, its effective range is half of 50 meters, so it might not be able to shatter the rock.

Although the mountain walls are smooth, Kuzuki can easily climb them using his ability to pierce large stones with his bare hands.

    However, before climbing up.

Kuzuki wants to see what’s under the water first.

The light comes from below the water and then converges above. It might not be able to destroy the rock above.

Kuzuki dips his mouth in a bit of lake water.

No taste, no toxicity… With his ability to sense any subtle changes in his own body, he can’t avoid detecting them.

Since he’s training the “Breathing Technique,” Kuzuki isn’t very good at holding his breath. He can only last about ten minutes. If he were a martial artist trained in internal energy arts, even without practicing the Turtle Breathing technique, he could hold his breath for hours with ease.

Taking a deep breath, Kuzuki dives into the lake like a fish, half playful and fast-moving.

Because there’s faint light under the water, Kuzuki can see more clearly as he dives deeper. After diving about 50 meters, he reaches the bottom of the lake, where the pressure is quite heavy, leaving him struggling to move.

The lakebed has a funnel-shaped area with a football-sized stone at the top, glowing faintly above it.

At this moment, the mountain range suddenly trembles slightly. A ripple effect appears on the water, spreading across the entire lake in an instant. The stone then slowly becomes brighter, with its glow intensifying to a blinding level. Kuzuki’s eyes, without glasses, are now clear and focused on the stone.

After reaching an extremely bright state, the light suddenly expands outward, causing the stone to dim again.

With the Anti-Evil Eye activated, Kuzuki sees a strange sight. In a view different from his normal vision, he sees this stone connected to the entire mountain range, no, perhaps even more than that—the whole world.

Countless tiny veins gather on the stone above. The earth sends a faint light through these veins, which then converge and spread out again.

Kuzuki approached the stone sphere above him and suddenly exerted his strength to swing a punch!

On land, that punch alone could cause an explosion, almost resembling a shadow.

However, now he was underwater, tens of meters deep. The water pressure was immense, requiring more effort for even the slightest movement, and combined with the resistance of the water, Kuzuki’s punch appeared much faster than it actually was from above.

    “Dong……”

A faint bubbling sound echoed from below, yet the stone sphere remained unchanged.

    Wow!

Its hardness exceeded that of steel. Kuzuki punched it, but instead of breaking through, his own fingers hurt.

Kuzuki stood firmly underwater, placing his fist a centimeter away from the stone sphere’s surface. The water had just calmed down when it began to bubble up again, despite no movement on his part. The surrounding water surged violently, as if boiling hot.

    “Rumbling!”

A massive cluster of bubbles erupted from the water surface. Kuzuki was startled, and his body momentarily blurred. The water exploded outward in a person-shaped void, creating a brief vacuum underwater.

In an instant, Kuzuki struck with incredible force, slamming against the stone sphere.

On land, he could use countless different techniques to attack, but underwater, he had only one option.

He retracted his fist, leaving a tiny indentation on the stone sphere’s surface, about 0.1 millimeters deep.

Out of breath, Kuzuki was about to swim up when he heard the splashing sounds of water. Looking up, he saw one Relic after another jumping into the lake!
