Chapter 90 The Old Immortal Arrives

Liu Chengshuang, like a small mountain, had a massive body that blocked out the sun, and his shadow encompassed the entire Hidden Sword Taoist.

Fist Wind caused the Hidden Sword Taoist’s hair to fly wildly. His expression was invisible, but he raised both arms, creating an invisible vortex of energy around them, before suddenly pushing out with both hands.

Two streams of white light resembling tornadoes roared and flew out simultaneously when struck by the Fist Wind. They directly hit Liu Chengshuang’s massive body.

    “Boom!”

Liu Chengshuang, like a cannonball, shot back toward the source of the attack, slamming into the stone ground and digging a deep trench. The fragile stones were pushed aside by his back, forming a small pile of dirt.

    “Energy-Draining Technique!”

Those with sharp eyes immediately shouted out in surprise.

Only the Old Freak of Xingxiu Ding Chunqiu knows the Energy-Draining Technique. Could it be that Ding Chunqiu is pretending to be the Hidden Sword Taoist?

Liu Chengshuang, lying in the pit, coughed twice and sat up.

He knew he was seriously injured. If not for this current body’s incredible defensive strength, he wouldn’t have been reduced to a shattered chestbone or exploded into pieces.

It also snapped him out of his invincible delusion. In the presence of true power, Strength is not absolute.

After the Hidden Sword Taoist flung Liu Chengshuang away, he wiped his face with a hand and pulled down a mask made from human skin, revealing his own face.

His Internal Energy was incredibly powerful, yet he was only in his early twenties. He looked ordinary and unremarkable, but his eyebrows were unusually long and sharp, slightly arched, giving him an intimidating presence.

However, he fundamentally is not Ding Chunqiu!

The young tiger-like figure staggered back, coldly stating: “Weakling! If you don’t grovel before me, I’ll make you grovel. You insignificant creatures should be on your knees just seeing the great me!”

“Little brat! What a bold move!”

“Did you kill the Hidden Sword Taoist?”

“Reckless! Let’s all go after him together and kill him!”

A chorus of taunts rose from several dozen people, brandishing swords and charging at him.

Just as the young tiger seemed about to meet his demise under the blades, a sudden force knocked back the numerous Martial World People like they had hit an invisible barrier.

The swords then flew wildly, cutting down a large group of people in a manner similar to harvesting wheat.

“Trash……” He laughed wildly and said: “I am the direct disciple of the Xingxiu Sect’s Old Immortal, Ye Haochen, the next-generation Xingxiu Sect Patriarch. If you put down your swords, I can still spare your lives!”

Master Xuanku of Shaolin immediately frowned upon seeing Ye Haochen’s true face.

Chenhua, the Eagle King of the Eagle Claw Wild Goose Sect, opened his mouth: “Master Xuanku, could there be another hidden agenda?”

Xuanwu looked at Ye Haochen with some confusion: “Well, that’s why I issued the Hero Invitation in the first place! Ten days ago, Ye Haochen came to our temple and told me that the Xingxiu Sect had a grand scheme in mind. Their goal was to dominate the entire Martial Arts World. If we don’t gather all their Strengths together, none of the sects in the Martial Arts World will be able to escape. It’s better to follow Ye Haochen’s suggestion and collect all the Strengths from every sect to take on Ding Chunqiu. I agreed with his plan and listened to his advice. Ye Haochen didn’t stay long before leaving.”

    “What?”

    Everyone was stunned.

How could Ye Haochen, a member of the Xingxiu Sect, be so kind as to help them?

Diancang Sect’s Northern Void Swordsman suddenly asked: “Who are Shao Sheng and Qiao Feng? Where is Heroes Gathering Manor?”

Everyone shook their heads in confusion.

At this point, Xuanwu looked worried and stepped forward: “Ye Patriarch, if you’re from the Xingxiu Sect, why would you do something that’s harmful to your own sect?”

Ye Haochen displayed an intimidating aura, killing tens of people in one move and riding the momentum to stand atop the large incense burner in the center of the square.

Under the watchful eyes of thousands, he laughed loudly and asked: “Harmful? Hahahaha… It’s so funny! Even if all the sects in the Martial Arts World combined, could they withstand a single finger from the Heavenly Mountain Sect? Could they beat Old Immortal of the Xingxiu (Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils)?”

He pointed at the crowd: “It’s not that hard to kill one by one. It’s much easier to gather them together and kill them all at once. I was planning to become the leader of the Martial Arts Alliance, but now I’m thinking it would be more fun to just kill all of you and then take that role!”

Ye Haochen didn’t even bother looking at the crowd, treating them like a group of pigs ready for slaughter.

The Martial Arts World was filled with people brimming with bloodlust. They couldn’t tolerate this.

In an instant, several figures emerged from the crowd and used the shoulders of others to leap, their feet touching only the tips of toes, flying through the air like swallows. Within moments, they surrounded Ye Haochen.

“Everyone, don’t get carried away!” Xuanwu shouted in an attempt to stop them, but it was too late.

Ye Haochen rose from the incense burner, spinning 360 degrees in mid-air and unleashing a series of powerful punches.

    Bam! Bam!

The attackers were knocked back and fell to the ground, their bodies lifeless.

Such brutal behavior shocked everyone, even making some people unable to hold their weapons. They dropped their swords in frustration.

In the chaos, no one noticed Liu Chengshuang crawling back toward the edge of the crowd after returning to his original form.

Just as Liu Chengshuang was about to crawl out of the crowd and leave the square, a hand suddenly grabbed his shoulder. A familiar voice called out: “Liu Brother, don’t rush off.”

Liu Chengshuang burst into tears, turned around and pleaded, “Brother Ge, please be kind and let me go. I promise I’ll set up a Longevity Tablet for you every day.”

Kuzuki let go of his shoulder and said, “I’m doing this for your own good. Listen carefully to what’s happening down the mountain.”

“…Xingxiu Sect, worshipped by all! The name of the Old Immortal shakes the world!”

The many voices merged into one, at first faint and indistinct, but growing louder and louder, like a tidal wave of tens of thousands of people shouting in unison!

It’s the Old Immortal of the Xingxiu Sect (from Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils)!

The Xingxiu Sect actually arrived at this moment!

But at this time, the crowd in the arena was still unaware, their angry glares fixed on Ye Haochen.

The leader of the Sea Sand Gang and the Nine-Pouch Elder of the Beggar Sect leapt out simultaneously, shouting, “You junior! How dare you speak such arrogance!”

They treaded through the air, their toes tapping lightly in midair as they shot forward one after the other, landing beside Ye Haochen.

    “Take this!”

    “Flying Dragon in the Sky!”

    “Boundless Sea!”

    Boom!

Two beams of brilliant light shot out from the hands of the Sea Sand Gang leader and the Nine-Pouch Elder, like pillars of light blasting straight toward Ye Haochen.

Ye Haochen shouted, “Good timing! Break for me!”

He suddenly thrust out both palms, radiating an ominous red glow that collided with the white beams.

Red and white lights intertwined, and the faces of all three turned ashen. This was the most dangerous type of battle—contesting Internal Energy. One slip could mean total defeat: at best, severe injury; at worst, instant death.

    Ha!

Ye Haochen exhaled sharply, and the red light surging from his palms intensified, forcing its way back and slamming into the two men’s chests.

The Sea Sand Gang leader and the Nine-Pouch Elder spat blood and were sent flying backward, tumbling far away like rolling cartwheels.

“Impossible! Was this guy cultivating since he was in his mother’s womb? Even these two can’t defeat him…”

Having defeated both opponents in succession, Ye Haochen’s momentum reached its peak. After regulating his breath slightly, he didn’t give chase.

Instead, he half-knelt toward the mountain gate and said, “Disciple respectfully welcomes the Old Immortal.”

    Whoosh!

A shadow falls from the sky and lands in the square.

A youthful appearance with a robust build, none other than Ding Chunqiu, the Old Immortal of the Xingxiu……
