    Chapter 95 Zhenlong Go Board

With Li Qiushui’s help, Ding Chunqiu couldn’t kill him.

A cloud of smoke burst open in the ruins, and amidst the scattered debris, a shadowy figure rose into the air like a bird, then landed on the ground.

After burying someone in the ruins for a while, Kuzuki looked somewhat disheveled with dust all over his body.

Despite the silence of the ruins, Kuzuki knew Ding Chunqiu was still alive.

Li Qiushui floated eerily in mid-air, her movements as graceful as a divine fairy.

She would have been fine if she hadn’t opened her mouth, but once she did, it ruined the atmosphere: “You dare destroy Heavens End Sea Pavilion? I want you dead!”

With a wave of her sleeves, red energy shot out from her palm and exploded on the ground, creating a massive crater.

It was like a heavy bomber, creating a fiery hellish landscape.

Even though Kuzuki’s right arm wasn’t injured, he wasn’t a match for Li Qiushui. With his right arm now wounded, he was even less of a match and dodged her attacks on the ground.

    “Clang!”

As Li Qiushui flew through the air, she continuously used Netherworld Ghost Hand attacks to target Kuzuki, creating a bomb zone around him.

She was arrogant and highly mobile, forcing Kuzuki to constantly dodge her attacks.

Despite relentless attacks, Li Qiushui’s anger only grew stronger.

With both hands glowing, she aimed at the area where Kuzuki stood,

    “Multiple Ghost Shadows!”

A dazzling light burst from her palm and engulfed everything in front of her.

Dense streams of energy crisscrossed, sealing the space in front of her. Then, a series of thunderous explosions erupted as Li Qiushui’s Netherworld Ghost Hand struck the ground, each claw-like energy wave packed with power comparable to a cannonball, instantly tearing through the ground and burrowing deep before exploding.

From above, you could see the flat ground suddenly rise like a drum, glowing with firelight amidst the chaos. Shockwaves swept everything within a radius of several hundred meters into thin air, creating a massive mudslide of hard rock that was as fragile as tofu and repeatedly pounded to pieces.

After the dust settled from the explosion, the ground was littered with massive Sinkholes, but there was no sign of Kuzuki’s body.

Li Qiushui landed nearby with a flick of her sleeves, creating a whirlwind that swept across the ground.

Dust and debris were blown everywhere, leaving no place to hide.

“Could it be that all the bones have been obliterated by me?”Li Qiushui snapped her fingers, sending a cluster of fireflies-like tiny lights into a massive stone block taller than a man.

    A sharp intake of breath.

The stone seemed to contain explosive material inside, disintegrating instantly into countless fragments of stone powder.

Compared to the overwhelming power of this hellhound claw, even a human body hit by it would know what fate awaited them.

“Hmph! What a letdown……”Li Qiushui flicked her sleeves and turned sharply on her heel, flying into the sky.

After Li Qiushui flew away, the ground was left scarred and pockmarked. Only the blue smoke from the explosion lingered in the air before dissipating.

A few days later, a pile of earth suddenly trembled.

    A sharp gasp echoed out.

A shadow emerged from beneath the dirt pile—none other than Kuzuki. He had dug into the ground during the explosion’s blind spot to avoid Li Qiushui’s attacks, planning to feign death and escape. Unbeknownst to him, Li Qiushui didn’t even bother searching for him before leaving.

Kuzuki’s plan included a scheme to ambush Li Qiushui during her search, but it turned out to be futile. It seemed that while Li Qiushui had lived a long life, her experience in the martial arts world was lacking.

Shaking off the dirt, Kuzuki glanced at the surroundings and walked away.

This kind of power, range, and duration already rivaled modern weapons’ artillery coverage. With such a method, those martial arts experts would inevitably die without any chance of survival.

Therefore, Kuzuki wouldn’t cooperate with others. On the battlefield’s scale, even a thousand weak individuals couldn’t match one martial arts expert.

    ········

For three days, there was no sign of Ding Chunqiu.

After escaping Li Qiushui’s forces, Kuzuki didn’t leave immediately. Instead, he hid in the shadows and monitored Heaven’s End Sea Pavilion.

Heaven’s End Sea Pavilion was under renovation, with fish and dragons swimming freely among it. All sorts of artisans and farmers came and went, transporting building materials like wood and stone. Yet, none of them spotted Ding Chunqiu entering or exiting.

Over the past three days, various tradesmen and farmers arrived and departed, transporting construction materials but never seeing Ding Chunqiu’s presence.

Kuzuki had considered the possibility that Ding Chunqiu might be hiding among the workers. To ensure he wasn’t missed, he used his Mystic Eyes to monitor everyone entering or leaving Heaven’s End Sea Pavilion. His Mystic Eyes could detect a person’s energy flow—vague and only roughly estimating their qi.

Ding Chunqiu has been hiding in the Heaven’s End Sea Pavilion and hasn’t come out.

Kuzuki touched his own eyes, blinked, and deactivated his Mystic Eyes.

“In this world, resurrection from death, immortality, and half-life-half-death states are all possible. There are all sorts of miraculous techniques and strange abilities. By the next time we meet, Ding Chunqiu will probably have fully recovered from his injuries…”

After exchanging blows with Ding Chunqiu, Kuzuki concluded that his own strength was above Ding Chunqiu’s. Although Ding Chunqiu had hidden moves he hadn’t yet used, Kuzuki also had a killing move—and a highly dangerous one at that.

“In this encounter, the Mystic Eyes have already roughly revealed his strength. Next time… will be the time to kill Ding Chunqiu.”

With Li Qiushui’s protection, Kuzuki couldn’t do anything to Ding Chunqiu. However, it wasn’t as if there was no solution.

If he could find one particular person and persuade her to take action…

But even that wasn’t entirely foolproof. To be completely certain of killing Ding Chunqiu, he first needed to go somewhere else…

Having made his decision, Kuzuki stopped monitoring the movements of the Heaven’s End Sea Pavilion. His figure flickered, heading quickly in a certain direction.

    Tianshan Misty Peak.

Ever since the eccentric Carefree Master of the Martial Arts World had died, this place had become desolate. Only Su Xinghe remained, guarding a Go board, trying day after day to solve it.

At the summit, on a platform.

Beneath an ancient pine tree sat a stone table and stone stools.

On the surface of the stone table, crisscrossing lines and round dots formed a black-and-white Go board.

A figure moved swiftly along the mountain path, soon reaching the summit.

The newcomer had an ordinary appearance, except for his eyebrows, which were full of spirit. The ends of his brows arched upward, hinting at a trace of domineering energy.

It was Ye Haochen, who had escaped from Shaolin Temple.

He looked around but saw no one. Only two strips of cloth fluttered from the old tree. Written on them were: “The eloquent gentleman extinguishes worldly affairs with chess; the Zhenlong Go Board leaves an eternal legacy.”

Unhurried, Ye Haochen took a wooden statue from his robe and said, “Senior, I come at the command of the abbot of Shaolin Temple, seeking an audience with the venerable Carefree Master. I humbly request Senior to show yourself.”

Swish. His hand was suddenly empty. The statue flew through the air and landed in the hand of a Daoist who had appeared at some unknown time.

Although the Daoist was old, his appearance was dignified and his bearing elegant. He must have been a handsome man in his youth.

Looked at the statue once, the monk opened his mouth and said: “What’s up, break the chessboard again.”

Ye Haochen was here to break Zhenlong Go Board, so there was no reason to object.

He shook his clothes and sat in front of the stone platform. Picking up a chess piece, he was about to make a move when he suddenly froze.

This Zhenlong Go Board is not ordinary; it was created by Carefree Master over his lifetime, containing the essence of Heaven and Earth and encompassing all things. It can guide the hearts of chess players, lead them into illusion, break through illusion, and thus break the game.

Ye Haochen was about to make a move when he suddenly felt that Heaven and Earth had changed, and he fell into a fantasy world.

    “Dong dong dong…”

A few steps could be heard, and another figure appeared on the platform.

The monk looked up upon hearing the sound and saw a cold-faced, tall, and muscular man walking slowly toward him.
